Dr. Allen Gene Garrison, MD

I was seen 3 nights ago at 2:00 in the morning. I have chronic bacterial chronic vaginosis and chronic yeast infections which they have not been able to find the cause. Plus I had had an outbreak of herpes. I was in pure agony or I would not have gone to the ER. The FIRST thing he says to me is "this is not an emergecy". Well let me tell you it was awful having 3 infections "down there" and for a Dr who is a male and has no vagina to say that is rude and unprofessional. I wouldn't have got someone to take me in the middle of the night if I didn't need help. I would NOT refer him to my worst enemy.

Dr. Garrison needs more compassion with his hospice patients. He told my spouse on a Monday that if pneumonia didn't get him something else would. My spouse died on that Friday. I feel like Dr. Garrison didn't give my spouse hope. He had already battled and came through so much. Dr. Garrison prides himself on telling the patient how it is. Maybe so, but there is always a better way to deliver that news.

Dr. Garrison needs to have more compassion when dealing with his very sick patients. His bedside manner needs work.

DR. Garrison worked hard to save my life. He is a caring physician.
