This is a young rising neurologist with research and patient care interests in areas of neurological complications of infectious diseases like Lyme & HIV. After weeks of searching for a neurologist at Mt Sinai w specialization in neurological complications from toxic mold exposure. It seemed that neurological expertise with mild impactrenainsca research and not a patient practice speciality . But Dr Navis has a strong profile and interest in solving challenging complex patient health . With my own complicating considerations ( recent Lyme and concussion history) I had an instinct this is the new neurology in the wake of advances in neuroscientists. Dr Navi’s is not only atbe kind of real life problem solver patients really want to rent upon, she is incredibly kind, generous of spirit, no judgmental and in her patient care , she’s been a unbelievably generous advocate when I hit snags scheduling Appt in the the Miunt Sinai system.
