Dr. Alvaro S. Rios, MD, FACC, FASNC

Dr. Alvaro Rios is a cardiovascular disease specialist who earned his medical degree from Universidad Mariano Galvez De Guatemala, Facultad De Ciencias Medicas Y De La Salud. He completed his residency at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center and the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago Program, followed by fellowship training in cardiovascular diseases at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. With 37 years of experience in cardiovascular medicine, Dr. Rios holds board certification in internal medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine and maintains Fellow status with the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (FASNC).
