Dr. Al Cohn, MD

If you need a plastic surgeon for reconstruction surgery, Dr. Cohn is the one to choose. He is so nice and patient, and his work is excellent. You never feel rushed through an appointment. His staff are the nicest and most understanding of any doctor's office I have ever seen, and they have a very well run office.

I had an augmentation with mastopexy and abdominoplasty three months ago and I am so pleased with the result. Dr. Cohn took time to listen to my concerns before surgery and addressed them during the procedure. The follow up after surgery was excellent. He called me over the weekend to check on me!

I had multiple consultations with different plastic surgeons for body concerns after losing significant weight. Dr. Cohn and his staff made me feel at home from the moment I stepped into the office. I had combined breast, abdomen and neck procedures, and I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER with the results. I am scheduled for additional procedures at the end of the year and cant wait. His staff have always made me feel like part of the family. Highly recommend...!

Dr. Cohn takes time to answer any question that you may have and he always has a great demeanor.

I was initially concerned that I would feel rushed and that I wouldn't be able to connect with my doctor. However, Dr. Cohn and his staff took so much time to explain the procedures. Every part of the experience was relaxed and easy.I have loved the surgical results and have recommended him to many friends.

My mother has been on Dr. Cohn's appointment calendar for nearly two weeks. She needed to meet with him before she could be scheduled for a mastectomy, and she needs the surgery ASAP. His very nice office staff contacted my mother yesterday to let her know he was cancelling her appointment, as he has decided not to take military insurance anymore. Let me repeat: he canceled an appointment with a breast cancer patient because her insurance is military, and the most likely reason he has decided not to accept this insurance anymore is financial.A single patient, waiting desperately to get a surgery appointment, was turned away the DAY BEFORE HER APPOINTMENT WITH HIM. She has a time-sensitive issue and a life-threatening illness, and he canceled her appointment with him. The day before the appointment.The man might be a perfectly competent surgeon. He might have a decent bedside manner. But his ethics are questionable, and his compassion is clearly lacking.My mother is beside herself now… and desperately trying to be seen by another, more compassionate, more ethical surgeon. Her tentative surgery date has now been moved back.Proceed with caution where Dr. Cohn is concerned.

Doctor Cohn is a wonderful surgeon. I would use Dr. Cohn again. He is fantastic! He takes time to explain, and answer questions. He makes me feel very comfortable. His bedside manner was both professional & approachable. You can rest assured that you are in great hands with Dr. Cohn. His staff was also fantastic!

Totally great experience and results from Dr. Cohn and his outstanding staff...!

Dr. Cohn shows true concern for his paitents and produces outstanding results. What more could you want?
