Dr. Alyssa G. Horowitz, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Horowitz for over 8 years. Her office is small practice with very attentive and friendly staff. During that time, I have multiple visits to her office and had 2 procedures. She has always showed her fantastic bed side manners and how much she cares about her patients. When I had questions about the procedures, she demonstrated extreme patience on answering all my questions. When my husband wanted to meet with her to ask questions, she answered all his questions and even pull the medical models and diagrams to ensure he understood what was going on. Then, after completing the procedures, while other doctors notified the family member of the conclusion of the surgery over the phone, Dr. Horowitz came out in person and explained my husband the results of the surgeries. Even my husband mentioned, that while all others got a call, he got to talk in person to Dr. Horowitz adding peace of mind during a scary time. Dr. Horowitz has been always, helpful,… respectful and never pushed me to rush my decision or to get unnecessary procedures. I am extremely satisfied with Dr. Horowitz services. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, honest and caring physician, I highly recommend Dr. Horowitz.

Doctor was okay, not very personable. Her staff is horrible. They had the wrong address for me, was sending bills to someone in NY, 3 years later got a letter from collections with a fee. Was unwilling to work with me take care of the fee, irregardless of the fact that they messed up on my address. HORRIBLE SERVICE. Will never recommend.

After years of coming to Dr. Horowitz - never but a quick appointment and review...this past year left me with months of unsure answers, many biopsies and a surgical procedure that was unmerited. Months of useless worrying and excessive pain!!! ( A waste of time, money, and an infection to boot.) She reported INCONCLUSIVE TEST RESULTS...THEN offered to do them again for another abnormal pap. Really!! So as a result - I feel that I have a lack of confidence in her. - especially with her follow-up with explaining the all of the results of the many tests and biopsies - that she preformed.. and she took a long time to release my records to view for myself.

I had received a message from the office explaining that my appointment was scheduled for the next day, even though I was under the impression it was scheduled for the following day. By the time I went to call to confirm which day my appointment was scheduled for, the office was closed. So, the following day, I went to the office and the door was locked. I knocked on the door because I could hear someone inside. The receptionist answered and asked what I wanted. I explained that I had an appointment and she became very rude and said I was wrong. I told her that I have the message from the office to prove it, and she still continued to tell me I was wrong. From here she said, " Well, I don't know what you want me to do, there isn't even a doctor here." Obviously, mistakes happen with scheduling appointments, but this women was so rude to me and blamed the misunderstanding on me, she didn't even apologize. And, I took off of work for this appointment on top of it. Needless to say, I… will not be returning to this doctor's office. I want to feel comfortable at my doctors, I don't want to be treated rudely.

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. INCORRECT BILLING, VERY RUDE STAFF, OLD MACHINES AND DOCTORS DIAGNOSIS IS NOT ACCURATE. THIS IS NOT EXPECTED WHEN YOU NEED HELP AND PAY HEFTY CHARGES.

I love Dr. Horowitz. She is terrific. I have been going to her for over 15 years. She always calls me at home if there are any issues. Delivered my son 13 years ago. I have always had a pleasant experience with her and her staff. Great doctor!

This lady is my savior after sifting through several doctors, she listened to mpe ordered the appropriate tests, surgery was suggested. She called me personally at home and explained mtpy condition and how she would proceed! Very impressed! Needless to say I am out of pain and I owe her my life back!!!' Thank you!!!

Dr. Horowitz is conservative and caring. She delivered both my daughters. I trust her.

I would absolutely recommend Dr. Horowitz to anyone! She is very knowledgable, caring, and it was such a relief to find a Dr. that I could trust completely. She is extremely thorough and sensitive to your needs. I wouldn't have my son if it weren't for her advice and encouragement.

I have recently delivered a baby with dr Horowitz and had an excellent experience. I was always seen on time for my appointments throughout my pregnancy. Had a wonderful delivery experience. Dr Horowitz was with me the whole time. Would highly recommend dr Horowitz to anyone planning to have a baby.
