I am very glad we took my family member to see Dr. Johnson after some scary incidents. She really took time to talk to me and my family about what has been going on to get to the bottom of everything. You could tell she was really listening to our concerns and cared about what has been happening. Her assistant Katy was just as amazing. We were worried about my family member not being able to test but Katy made that possible. She made my family member feel comfortable and at ease and because of her work we were able to fully get tested. My family member still talks about Katy and how kind and listening she was. You can clearly tell Katy and Dr Johnson have a great relationship and really care about their patients. We were provided with an informative diagnosis and given so much resources to help me and my family. I am very happy we came here and we will be trusting Dr Johnson and her assistant Katy with their diagnosis with my family member now and in the future. Highly recommend them… both

This woman was inconsiderate and dismissive, and acted like our concerns were petty. She made us feel “less than” or as a wife, like my concerns were invalid. We’ll be going outside the area from now on and not UPHS.

She had poor bedside manner. It was supposed to be a 60min evaluation and testing. She spent 15mins max. She claimed I was faking my symptoms because these sort of problems just don’t exist in her world of expertise. I was told to get back to doing things because I was just scared and didn’t want to work. Absolutely horrible. She smushed the little hope I had of making progress. Her fake claims ruined my relationship with other doctors. If you want someone to help you go somewhere else. She’s not worth your time or money.

Poor bedside manner and lack of thoroughness in patient consultation. Failed to review labs and diagnostic testing prior to giving diagnosis. Did not speak or direct questions to patient, rather to their companion in the room. Would advise driving to a larger hospital system with more experienced clinicians and hopefully a more tactful presentation of diagnosis to the patient and their family.

In the first 5 minutes she decided that we were wasting her time and kept looking at her clock and couldn't get us out of her office fast enough because she thought that everything we said was overstated. She didn't even bother reading his test results from a full 8 hour day of testing... for this same reason. So thanks to her a year later he has had every test on Gods green earth ran to prove that dementia is what's wrong with him. She was the rudest doctor that either of us have ever had to deal with.. If you value your time...go to someone else. When dementia touches your life one would like to think that she would have some sort of compassion... but she doesn't!!
