Dr. Amanda Kay Lauramore Shearer, MD

Dr. Shearer was great. Attentive, thorough, sensible, helpful. One of the best I've known in 60 years as an adult. Was so sorry when she left CHP.

Dr. Shearer is THE BEST. She was my Dr in Tallahassee, for years, and its been tough finding another PCP that meets her level knowledge, and compassion. She is a fantastic listener, and she takes her time. My daughter and I REALLY miss her, but wish her well in Jacksonville! Maybe a move to Jacksonville is in order, lol!

Dr. Shearer is an excellent, competent, and caring physician. I've been a patient since 2014. Have always had a positive experience with her and all of her staff. She listens and we discuss my plan of care and has been awesome with referrals to specialists. The nurse calls and communicates test results promptly. I recommend her to anyone in need of a great primary care physician.

Dr. Shearer has been my primary for many years. I have two Stage 4 conditions. She's on top of all my testing and makes excellent, critical assessments. Best primary I've ever had. Her staff is excellent. They run a friendly, efficient office.

I think most of staff are from TCPA that’s why they don’t have personality and they don’t care managin patients time. I saw different staff every visit. Most of patients are expecting to see the doc to discuss about health concerns taking time for me but real world is different. Dr. Amanda might be the best doctor in Tallahassee but poor management running own business.

Good doctor but once she learns how to treat her employees then she will be a great doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Shearer for several years, having been referred to her by a friend from childhood. I find her exceedingly competent and never makes me feel like I'm getting the "bum's rush". She makes sure I am comfortable, with all my questions and am comfortable with any meds she may have perscribed. Thank you Dr Shearer!!!

She is very nice and friendly person but as primary doctor poor knowledges. Zero communication by email or phone. Waiting time is super short 5 min They want you always make a visit and pay, in and out, but most at the time with no result for patient. Maybe for something simple like flu she is the best but find and solve problem, prescribe right medication and treat - not. Staff nice and friendly.

She is very courteous and friendly, unlike her stuff, but too busy to listen and dedicate proper amount of time. Couldn't even remember what she proscribed me. More concern to get you in and out, rather then really help and get to the bottom of the problem.
