Dr. Amanda Silver Karcioglu, MD

I regret ever seeing this doctor. She charted and billed for an in-office procedure she did not perform, and then she would not correct the medical record accurately. She blamed the error on a corrupt equipment file--a file that didn't exist because the equipment was never used on me and test was never done! It was HER charting error--poor memory of what occurred, I guess--or use of an "auto-populate" or "cut and paste" button in the electronic medical record and she neglected to edit the template for accuracy--but she couldn't bring herself to admit that she charted something that was inaccurate. During the visit, she talked about how overworked she was and how her husband wanted her to find a new job. Not the best impression to begin with, and then the charting mistake that she refused to take responsibility for. Read your visit notes and watch your bills from her. Ego beyond belief.

Dr. Karcioglu is absolutely incredible. She is compassionate, knowledgeable, kind, professional, gentle, and just a doctor that stands out. I will continue to use her as my ENT. I don't often write reviews for doctors, but she is worthy of one. Truly a terrific physician.

You could do better . Did not diagnose my problem which turned out to be pretty simple.

Turbinate surgeries from ent doctors can cause Empty Nose Syndrome, which damages the nerves in your nose and makes you feel like you're suffocating. Think again before having the surgery.

She is really good, very thorough and has a gentle and caring demeanor. I particularly liked the fact that she was not rushed and took her time in helping me. She was also very considerate of the pain that I was in at the time.
