She barely spoke to me, and when she did I didn't understand what she said. I feel like she brushed me aside just to get things done.

Unfriendly and two-faced

I have been seeing Dr. Fawzi for the last 3 years for Macular Degeneration. She has always been very kind, caring, professional, & very knowledgable. No matter how busy she is she has always taken the time to explain proceedures to me & is willing to answer questions. Dr. Fawzi has preserved my sight in the left eye & I am extremely grateful.

1. Incompetent: Totally screwed up first surgery, had to be redone, and result is I have lost the sight in the eye she treated.2. Horrible communications including total failure and refusal to communicate with my husband after surgery - kept him waiting for hours with NO information until he finally found a nurse to tell him surgery had been completed and to bring him in to see me.3. Disgrace to the medical profession.

Dr. Fawzi made me feel comfortable from our first meeting. She was kind, patient, incredibly knowledgable, and very personable. If the wait was long, it was worth every second. I received not one but two Retisert implants and am grateful for every day I can see.
