Excellent doctor

best doctor I have had--Much personal attention-- and very responsive to my needs!

The office was clean and smelled fresh. The front desk staff was amazing. The receptionist was very courteous and helpful. The nurse was warm and comforting. She made sure I understood the what was possibly going on with me and offered to give me some information. When the doctor came in she was warm and cheerful. I felt comfortable being completely honest about what was going on with me. The doctor advised me on how to manage my care outside of her visits and encouraged me to continue to take care of myself. My overall visit was wonderful. I left feeling better about my medical condition than when I first came in. I would recommend this doctor to anyone.

As a patient I do not expect to have to debate with my physician about what I feel is proper care for my well being. You're not with me everyday so my body can and does go through changes between the 3 months that I see you. I just found that although she wasn't rude she didn't have the best bedside manner and she was more in a way of let me get you in and out versus lets come up with a plan that address all of your needs.

I normally don't write reviews, but this one is warranted. My wife called for 3 days straight to get a simple birth control prescription refill. Granted this may not be something that reached Dr. Zafar's desk, but she (as the physician) must either a. hire better technicians or b. inspect what she expects. I even tried to call (to keep this honest) after hours and the answering service was not only rude, but refused to call her. Signed...you just lost a customer.

I have been a patient at DR Zafar's ever since I got Medicare and could afford for the first time in years to go to any doctor. I LOVE the office , especially Vickie her no-nonsense assistant. Dr Zafar reminds me of President Obama in her way of doing things--very deliberative and careful and with knowledge. She takes all the steps necessary and never rushes anything but I always feel like I was heard and everything necessary was done. She spends lots of time with me and never leaves me feeling like any of my needs were not met.I LOVE her! She was just what I wanted in a doctor! It is hard to believe that these other people who left reviews saw the same Dr I always see

Dr. Zafar's office has not been the same since Charlotte left. She was the only reason why I continued to go there, her charm and relatability made up for the lack of bedside manner by Dr. Zafar. My most recent visit will definetly be my last. Upon arriving I was asked by 2 different people what I was there for and then the nurse asked me while I was out in the lobby with other clients did I want a pap smear and when I responded no, she wanted to know why. I felt like this conversation should have happened in private or at least with me standing at the counter, not sitting amongst other patients. They had no idea how to charge my insurance, so they initially asked for a co-pay of $35 and then later changed it to $175. I was in the office with Dr. Zafar all of 5 minutes in which she asked me questions and listened to my heart. This was supposed to be my annual visit and that was all that she did, not until I ask her to complete my Biometric Screening form for my insurance did she say… anything about lab work. Lastly, I fond out about a month later that my insurance covered my visit and that I was not supposed to pay a co-pay. I called Dr. Zafar's office and they said that they did make a mistake and left the $175 on my account as a credit, well I told them that I did not plan to go back there so I didn't need the credit and asked for a refund. They told me that the person who did the refunds was not there and for me to come on Monday. I went to the office the following Monday and told them what I wanted, nobody had any clue as to what I was talking about, they told me to have a seat. I sat there for an hour before asking what was the hold up, an no one still knew anything and they had not even written my name down to check into it. I left my information with them for them to review it. I was called on Thursday and told to come on Friday for them to print me a check for my refund, but was told to call before I came so that they could make sure it was ready. I went on Friday and sat again for 40 minutes and still did not get my refund. The receptionist said that she told the doctor, but that she was with a patient. While I was sitting there I had seen Dr. Zafar walk by in the back several times. I left my address for them to hopefully mail it to me, but who knows.

I have only gone to Dr. Amber Zafar a few times and will never go again. My last visit I went to the Dr with a suspected illness and she acted like she didn't want to touch me and when I asked for a blood test for confirmation she tried to talk me out of it and was just going to take my Website diagnosis for a fact. I called the office for the results and they kept saying the nurse would call me back and still I have not been called, I have gave up on this office and will find another Doctor. If you value your health do not use this doctor.
