To get scheduled and to get my referral/ Authorization was a little tough at first. I arrived early, and was able to get in sooner due to the no show/late pt before me. I have had several EMGs in the past. By far this had to of been the best one yet. Terry did the first part of my EMG. He was very pleasant and exceptional at explaining what he was doing and to give warning. Then Dr. Amelia Barrett came in and did the second part of my EMG. She explained my results right away and I trusted her diagnosis. This was the most less painful EMG I have had yet! Great teamwork between them! Very good experience. If I need any more EMGs I will definitely come there.

I would highly suggest you find a different doctor if you're thinking about seeing Dr. Barrett. Don't waste your time or money on her. I read other bad reviews about her but gave her the benefit of the doubt and now I regret it. She does not care about her patients no matter the amount of pain their in!!

I went and saw her with symptoms such as dizziness, speech confusion, memory problems, and facial numbing. She sent me to get an MRI of the brain. I got a copy of the report, which showed microvascular ischemic white matter disease, and she called me and said to cancel our follow up that my MRI was normal.

Came in for one specific thing and she totally ignored it and went on about something that was totally a waste of time and money. Didn't listen and never got any answers.
