Dr. Amer A Saba, MD

Dr. Saba is a supremely talented surgeon and an attentive practitioner. Dr. Saba saved one my fingers that was mangled in an accident. I'm typing this review with full use of that finger. Dr. Saba saw me weekly pre and post op to ensure the best possible outcome. Dave Marra

He is a great and attentive physician. I would have lost my left index finger if it wasn't for his excellent service. He deserves every penny from insurance. He is not sneaky about the money he is billing your insurance as a courtesy it is ultimately your insurance carriers problem if they aren't paying for the care being rendered. He is highly qualified so his fees are high but he accepts payment plans and is willing to negotiate balances denied by insurance like my case.

Saba's a GREEDY, vindictive, CROOK. He spent 15 minutes by my hospital bedside after an ER visit, billed my Insurance co. over $12,000 for procedures he did not perform, knowing he could likely pull it off under an "emergency" exception to the PPO rules, and refused to adjust the invalid bill. Ins. erroneously paid it to me, I begged him to adjust the invalid bill so I could pay him and return the overpayment to ins. co.. He sued me immediately. He does ER call to pull this scam. Beware-ruthless

Dr. Saba is a highly qualified hand surgeon. His fees may be high but he saved my hand!!

My son had a terrible table saw injury to his hand with 4 out of five fingers cut, one of which was almost fully amputated. He performed a 7 hour surgery reconnecting everything and saved my son's hand and fingers. He didn't promise perfect function but I'm sure if he hadn't been treated promptly he would have lost at least one finger.

I went to this doctor on an emergency basis, provided by ER. He told me he would allow me to use my copay because he was out of network. I was thinking wow that is really nice..it was a lie. I saw him three times and honestly he didn't do anything but look at my finger. All three times I tried to pay my copay and the receptionist said she would send a bill. I told her I have the money now let me just pay it. She said no you will get a bill. Well I got a freaking bill of $4000 plus. I coulld have easily changed to an in network but since he told me that I would just pay my copay and he had a decent bedside manner I went with it. He is a liar and clearly wanted my money. I am not financially able to pay this type of money and I am angered that he did this to me. He will probably do it to you too unless you're in network. I will never give this man a good review. My mother always says if you lie, you will cheat and steal too. Wait for it.. it will come.

Dr. Saba was very attentive to my concerns. His care is very personalized and his staff was warm and welcoming. They explained everything to me in detail. My results are excellent. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Saba is a very caring, and compassionate surgeon. He was very patient with me, and took the time to explain all the details. His staff is very professional and pleasant.

Dr. Saba is the perfect surgeon in cases of trauma. I was rushed to the ER with a severe wrist injury and he performed a 5 hour surgery on my wrist putting back together my severed nerves, arteries and tendons. His calm and confident demeanor made me feel extremely safe and he was very approachable after the procedure, even offering to see me on days when he didn't have office hours. I am lucky to have had him as my surgeon.

Dr. Saba is a great hand surgeon. He took the time to repair my amputated finger after he performed an important and critical surgery at Inove Fairfax Hospital. He was very kind and did a wonderful job stitching my finger back on. My finger looked like nothing had happened when he stitched it back. Wonderful doctor.
