Dr. Ami Sandip Patel, MD

I was very anxious about needles going into my ankle joints, a very senceative & tender area. From the moment he touched my skin with a needle, I NEVER even felt the entrance of the needle into my skin or joint! The most calming, reassuring And gentle Doctor I have ever met. I would be so fortunate to be able to select Dr. Patel at every injection I would ever need! He is a most wonderful, caring person and a supreme Doctor. Six Stars to Dr. Patel... The Best in my Opinion!

I have SEVERAL friends who are patients of this doctor so it was a no-brainer when I called for an appointment. My experience was NOT a good one: First when I called a SUPER CHIPPER 12 year old sounding receptionist answered the phone. I explained why I was calling, I wanted to become a new patient of Dr. P. and wanted to schedule an appointment. After some back and forth about my insurance and JUST WHAT kind I had and IF Dr. P. accepted this particular plan...I was beginning to get a bit perturbed! "Well, I said...If Dr. P. DIDN'T accept my insurance, she WOULD NOT be on our list of NETWORK PROVIDERS, would she?" I suppose not, was the reply. Then we got to the MOST important question..."and HOW OLD ARE YOU? 58, I replied. Oh...well Dr. P. doesn't accept any patients OVER 57...she DOESN'T do GERIATRICS!" Now as this comment was traveling through my cell phone into my ear and up to my brain...I kinda went, "WAIT, WHAT did you just say? I JUST turned 58 last week..so you're saying if… I had called 2 weeks ago, I would've gotten in?" "Well, yes...that's just her PREFERENCE to NOT accept patients OVER 57...because as I said, she DOESN'T do GERIATRICS!" Therefore I found ANOTHER doctor, who does NOT think being 58, is tantamount to booking myself a room in a nursing home!

I really love Dr. Patel and would highly recommend her to anyone.

I had a terrible experience. Dr. Patel showed no compassion about a major struggle. I felt that she did not want to help me at all. I felt as if I was being lectured and talked down to.

I was thrilled when I first met Dr. Patel. She is gentle, caring and kind...while still confident and knowledgeable. She has a quiet humility that was impressive. After leaving the care of a male physician who was more impressed with himself than he needed to be and was rather indifferent, Dr. Patel's caring attitude and direct approach to patient care was a total breath of fresh air! I felt that I was in good hands and she listened :) I am so happy I found her!

Never seen such an energetic doctor like her. Always takes care of my all problems. I would recommend her to everyone.

I feel like Dr. Patel is a great physician. She does seem like she is always very rushed. I have had to wait a long time in the waiting room to see her at a couple different appointments.

Dr Patel is a great diagnostician. She follows me for extremely high familial cholesterol and is always thinking ahead for me. She makes the patient a partner in taking care of my health, and always says "will you work with me on this?" Somehow she keeps up with the latest studies and practice as a sole practitioner.

Dr. Patel and her staff are ALWAYS ready to help. Dr. Patel is the most caring and compassionate person. She spends time asking questions and hearing my questions and concerns. Her staff is exceptional!

She is the best doctor i have ever seen in my life. Really cares about her patients. Very smart doctor.
