Totally positive experience. BUT, DR. Vira does not accept BCBS. Thus, the patients husband ( this reviewer) needs to complete the BCBS Claim manually. Dr Vira's receipt is sent separately from the list of the work done,and there is no reference to the work done on the receipt. Thus, it is difficult to convince BCBS the the receipt is for the work done. The work done and the receipt should all be on one document to make it easier for the patients husband ( Me) to file the claim.Thanks for listening.

Dr. Vira truly cares about her patients. She was very generous with her time and addressed my concerns way past her office hours. I appreciated her expertise in offering a treatment plan that worked well for me. Thank you, Dr. Vira, for your excellent care. Mary B.

I am so very pleased with my visit with Dr. Vira. She is a very kind person who listened to me and explained what she thought would be beneficial to me. I was very relaxed during the appointment. Her assistant was also very friendly and kind throughout.

This was a followup visit for affected eye examination and final review of the surgery. Could not do the exam because of mechanical / electrical issues with examining equipment, but the final review was as expected, successfully completed with satisfying results.

I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Dr. Ami Shah Vira and felt she was very knowledgeable. However the cost for her care was rather expensive. I also had to file myself with Medicare.

Dr. Vira explained everything very well and I felt she listened to everything I said. She is not your regular doctor and takes the time to talk to you as an actual person.

my daughter has some complicated medical issues and this doc, like many others any more, didn't provide any real answers and didn't listen to the issue at hand. Save your money and try to see someone who can address complicated eye issues.

I went to Dr. Vira during a complicated eye issue. Seeing as she doesn’t take insurance, I was fine spending $300 out of pocket for quality care. She spent less than 10 minutes with me and didn’t bother to ask me one question to help qualify my symptoms. She gave me a generic answer that ANY ophthalmologist could have given me. When I tried to ask her a follow up question, she ignored the email, so eventually I resent the email. Her response to my email was was so disinterested and unhelpful and she told me that with any follow up questions, I should see a neurologist (even though it was her office that said they could me). I do agree with Dr. Vira on one thing, if you have a problem see another doctor.

Dr. Vera has excellent bedside manners. She is professional and extremely knowledgeable. She is kind and empathetic. It was so nice having her as my Dr.
