Dr. Amin Rahim Jamal, MD

That was my first and last visit to this doctor . No respect to patient time they expect you to be on time, But when it comes to them they will make you wait for almost two hours without any update except the doctor is busy , so what's the use of an appointment pure waist of our time , we just had to leave .

Dr Jamal is a rare gem in a world fast pace for every thing. He is a very thorough doctor. Therefore you must be patience when going to see him. Please allow for extra time, it will be worth the wait. I went to him because of a thyroid nodule. He discussed all aspects of my health and did not rush, unlike most doctors. He explained things that I didn’t know that were very beneficial to me with that on my medical records. He makes sure all test of run and give you great feedback. He also will refer you to the best surgeon if need be.

Dr. Jamal has been my Endocrinologist for many years. He is a good doctor, compassionate and kind at heart. He is the kind of doctor every person concerned about their health hopes to find. When it is your turn in the exam room you will find a thorough, experienced, and knowledgeable physician who will take the time in each appointment to answer your questions, make sure you understand your condition and the next steps. He is responsive by phone and email when needed. His office staff, led by Ms. Daisy, are always friendly and helpful. Dr. Jamal’s advice has led me to healthier decisions, better test results and better health.

Dr. Jamal and his staff exhibit kindness, courteousness, and genuine concern. Dr. Jamal is very thorough in his assessments and explanation. He and the staff are willing to answer questions. I appreciate that this office makes such an effort to help me be my most healthy self. Thank you, Dr. Jamal and staff, for your continued good care.

Waiting time is more than 3 hours

Sometime there is a long wait to see Dr Jamal, but it's worth it. He spends a lot of time with me explaining my condition and how to interpret the tests. His office is busy, I find the staff to be really helpful. The quality of care more than ofsets for the inconvenience in waiting in the office. I don't think he overbooks, but is rather taking the time to explain things to his patients.

Doctor Jamal’s office does more than triple booking I literally waited 2-3 hours after my scheduled appointment time on each visit and when they call my name they do took me from waiting room to exams room and I had to wait again in exam room at least for another 30-40 minutes and when I asked what is going on I have been waiting for so many hours and they said he would be there shortly and when Dr.Jamal comes in the room he is in rush and after all this time of waiting to see him , he just in and out and he doesn’t spend enough time with me to go over my blood work and explain the results to me , he does lots of unneeded tests in his office and I said I already had those test before and he never went over those test and results of my tests and what is proposed of doing this test again and he said if I don’t do those tests I have to leave his office and not to come back to see him anymore, he is definitely overbooking his appointments. It seems he is more interested in “NUMBERS… “” and “BILLING” getting the most number of billable patients, test and office visits than they bing interested in individual’s well being. The wait could have been worth it if I felt like I was getting the appropriate care I paid for, his office staff’s are unprofessional,rude ,terrible environments , waiting room and exam room’s are super small and unclean.

I will not recommend Dr. Jamal to anyone. He may be a good doctor however he is extremely unprofessional in dealing with patience. He showed no respect to his patience on a simple business matters and acted like the Soup Nazzi ("No Soup for you!"). How dare you question me, go somewhere else. Very unethical and quite shameful :(

Horrible environment and doctor. The staff was rude unprofessional and the office was SO dirty Ew broken equipment and just a terrible doctor.

The majority of his positive reviews I read on this site do not seem accurate with my experience. Dr. Jamal is an alright endocrinologist but it seems to be saving money by not purchasing new equipment. The waiting room is dirty and the patient rooms make you question his respect for patients. The most terrible part is that he probably saves money by hiring an unprofessional staff. His staff is F grade. I witnessed an elderly lady sitting in the waiting room for 3 hours and when she was called in her knees were stuck and her older husband helped her up not the nurse. Just a truly terrible environment avoid if possible.
