Excellent gyno and surgeon, excellent human being!

Dr. Bliss performed my hysterectomy two years and a half years. Ago. My time was wasted on numerous occasions in her office whenever she was called away to another patient. After my surgery Dr. Bliss did not visit for two days telling me that she had to get a hair cut. She left a staple in my incision which had to be removed at St John's emergency. And told me if I had no hot flashes a week after surgery I would not have any. My hot flashes started a month or so after my surgery. I never went back to Dr. Bliss.

She is so sweer, so kind and understanding. She has a great sence of humor - she is awesome!!!!Delivered my children.

I've had two C-sections with Dr. Bliss and I couldn't recommend a better doctor.

I love Dr. Bliss. She was my doctor during my pregnancy and I totally trust her. She always spent enough time with me and answered all of my questions and concerns. She has great attitude and makes you feel comfortable.

Dr. Bliss have very kind and warm personality. But I agree to other comments that some issues and concerns are answered in somewhat non-serious manner. I mean many people might like it but I feel I'm not taken quite as serious I I would expect. She is ALWAYS in a hurry but that's the case with most doctors anyways. She is nice and if there are no problems, very pleasant to deal with.

Dr. Bliss delivered my daughter and supported me through my two miscarriages. I love her friendliness and thoughtfulness. She is very personable and has amazing bedside manners. However, the front office is extremely frustrating and rude. After spending years with her, I decided to move on to another practice due the administrative frustrations. If she were to move to another practice with different support staff, I would follow back to her. Until then, I cannot spend anymore of my personal and intimate time at that office.

I ADORE Dr. Bliss as a person. Agree with other reviewers the office staff is rushed rushed rushed and she definitely is on a clock but she tries to give you her all. She has a lovely personality for routine pap smears and problem-free visits and I think most patients will never have an issue. The real issue for me is that she projects so much optimism and warmth that when you are discussing serious concerns that can't be hugged away it can feel invalidated- I understand why another reviewer called her flippant. For example, I was experience early menopause symptoms (at 31) due to chemotherapy treatments in my teens and asked how difficult it would be for me to get pregnant (and if it was even possible as my periods had become so irregular). She cheerfully responded that everyone's fertility declines after 30. Yes but... I couldn't really pin her down further. I moved to another doctor where the tone was more clinical but more helpful for me. I need the straight story, but I do… commend her on her warmth and kind spirit.

I've seen 3 doctors in the office and was not impressed with the practice. The fact that there are two offices (Santa Monica/Cedars) means that it is twice as hard to get an appointment with the doctor you want to see in the office you want to go to. I had incomplete files transferred between the two offices twice. Dr. Bliss is more personable than other doctors there, but seems rushed and hurried. She returns phonecalls, but starts each conversation with, "I need to make this quick becuase I don't have time right now." Nobody wants to feel as if their concerns are insignificant.

Dr. Bliss has a great, upbeat personality and is very easy to talk to. She is thorough and intelligent. I am pregnant with our first child and fully trust in her as both my obstetrician and gynecologist. Highly recommended.
