Dr. Amit Arora, MD

I took my husband to Dr Arora because I knew something was wrong but couldn’t figure out what it was. Dr A did lots of testing and diagnosed him with ALS. He was very thorough and explained everything very well. He does seem like he cares and was very nice and kind.

I HAVE BEEN WITH DR. ARORA FOR 3 YEARS. HE TESTED ME, DIAGNOSED ME, & "WE" CAME UP WITH A HEALTH PLAN. HE IS VERY EASY GOING & EASY TO TALK TO. HE CALMED MY FEARS BY EXPLAINING MY CONDITION. HE'D THE BEST!

I love Dr. Arora and his staff. He treats my partial seizures and is the only neurologist to offer and explanation for them. He listens to me and is very thorough in his exam. I’m grateful for everything he’s done for me and trust him completely as my doctor.

I’ve been using him for several years for partial seizures. I feel like he totally understands my seizures and he’s been the only neurologist to actually tell me what causes them. I appreciate the care he’s provided to me and feel confident in his ability to diagnose, treat and support me through my journey with epilepsy.

I had my first seizure as an adult (almost 30) and he found a condition I’ve actually had since birth. He is very no-nonsense, but also listens to my concerns. He is confident, and some might perceive that as arrogance. It doesn’t bother me, because I want my *brain doctor* to be very sure of himself! :-) I love this guy!

First and foremost, Dr Arora is no-nonsense so.... leave your drama for your mama (or your psychiatrist) and you’ll both have a better visit. He’s very methodical and logical as he walks through his process to diagnose. And he talks you through and explains each step as you go. I felt nothing would be missed in my time as a patient there because of his process. Shannon, his nurse practitioner, is the softer side to the visit. She’s so caring and kind; Thorough in her exam and questions. I LOVE Shannon and you will too! Dr Arora and Shannon are very good at what they do, just brilliant. And the office staff was always friendly and helpful. Molly, his nurse, was fantastic to answer my questions in between visits and anything else I needed. I am moving on to an even further specialized doctor with the confidence that we KNOW exactly what the problem is because of the fantastic care I received as a patient of this office. THANK YOU!

I was referred to Dr Arora after a series of seizures suffered post surgery. He investigated the causes of my seizures and was extremely diligent in seeing that they not occur again. He placed me on a conservative regimen of medication, and monitored my condition. I no longer require medication. He was able to explain my seizures and causes in language I could easily understand, was patient with my questions, and was such a warm and caring doctor. I recommend him highly.

Dr. Aurora is an extremely competent and compassionate doctor who has our complete trust and confidence.

I was referred to Arora Amit MD form the pain clinic. I have never failed a drug screen, takes meds a described but I have had excessive muscle pain, tremors and other symptoms I wanted to discuss with a professional. The front desk was very nice had about an hour wait to see Arora Amit MD. When Dr. Arora Amit came in the room he ask about what was going on. The first thing I wanted to discuss was my constant muscle pain. He looked at my meds and said I can tell you right now I will not give you more meds. I tried to explain I was look for answers not meds. I am tired of hurting. He did not look or ask questions about a report I brought from 2012 from a neurologist from Nashville. He continued to say he was unable to help me. my opinion he treated me like a "DRUG SEEKER" and cared less about issues! My visit lasted maybe 10 minutes. He was never rude just matter of fact. Saddened that I was treated this way..... Why, I don't know, I was having issues about my health, that he did not… address.
