Dr. Amit Kumar Singh, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Singh since 2012. He is an amazing caring Doctor and person! I trust him with my life. He listens to his patients and truly cares! You owe it to yourself to have this amazing man as your Primary care physician! We adore everyone at his office!

My husband was first a patient of Dr. Singh. He immediately came home and told me he though I would like him. I had not found a Dr or PCP to routinely follow up with and was just going to minute clinics as needed. I am not one that goes to the doctor much but when I do all I need is someone to listen to my concerns and issues and not look at a computer the entire time I am talking to them. I can't imagine seeing any other doctor now. He always remembers the last visit what we talked about even though it's been a year asks about my husband and kids. Excellent Doctor. Thank u Dr. Singh.

Dr. Singh is really an excellent PCP. He is a low-key, friendly doctor who is willing to spend adequate time discussing your issues--my wife and I are both his patients and have never felt rushed during an appointment. He's accommodating when it comes to trying out different medications if you feel like something's not working well, and he's also willing to acknowledge when he doesn't know something.

I didn't feel like my needs were being met from my last doctor who was very nice though. I always felt rushed and he would NEVER prescribe meds that I really needed due to his natural healing values. One of my friends told me about Dr. Singh. She told me that I would love him because of his bedside manners and he wants to hear your concerns and then he will let you know what he recommends. I was going to a Pain Management Clinic, which I hated because they were giving me too strong of medications and did not want to change it. I stayed sick taken this. I voiced my concerns to Dr. Singh and he told me that he would prescribe what I needed and would manage it from the office. I was more than ecstatic. I was placed on a lower dosage of the medication and I am tolerating it just fine. Of course I discontinued my appointments with the Pain Clinic. He is an amazing doctor. I would recommend him a thousand times.

I have been going to Dr Singh for two years now and by far he is the best that I have allowed to take care of my health. Not only is he a gentle soul a kind person but he truly and unconditionally cares about each individual patient that he serves. He has a servant's heart and I trust him with all of my health decisions. If you are in need of a primary care physician it would be to your advantage and to your honour to have this man as your doctor.

Absolutely love him!! Very caring and took time to listen and took complete care of me!! Highly recommend him to everyone I have searched around for a good caring doctor finally found the one !! You won't go wrong with Dr Singh!!

Dr. Singh is by far my favorite doctor. He has a wonderful bedside manner, spending time with me and answering all my questions. He always follows up after visits if needed. He is very courteous and always gives an accurate diagnosis. I have recommended him several times and have met other satisfied patients of his when out in the community. Smyrna is fortunate to have Dr. Singh.

I've been using Dr. Singh as my PCP for over a year now and have visited 3 times. Honestly speaking, Dr. Singh is the best Internist I've ever been to see. His staff is very courteous and prompt when you arrive. Scheduling appointments is very easy and they will try to get you in the same day if it is an emergency. Average wait time is around 5 minutes after you sign in. The office and examination rooms are very clean and modern. The nurses ask very detailed questions to understand the purpose of your visit and to make sure they document all medications and supplements you are taking. Most doctors pay no attention to the supplements their patients take, so this is one thing that separates his office from others. Nurses will take your weight, O2 level, blood pressure, and pulse, at every visit. Dr. Singh comes in and asks additional detailed questions about what is ailing you, as well as performs a typical examination of your lungs, mouth, ears, nose, etc. He is very… interested in any information you can provide that will help, as well as any input to the course of treatment you prefer (given the options). He is very knowledgeable and practical about the course of treatment and doesn't look to break your wallet on unnecessary tests or lab work. Rest assured that if he is ordering something, then it is necessary and beneficial for you. He has successfully treated me each time I've gone to see him and even for things that would have perplexed most Internists I've seen in the past. Last, but not least, you can expect to get a call from Dr. Singh directly to review your lab or test results and not just a random nurse that is unfamiliar with your case. That is what truly separates Dr. Singh from the average Internist - he truly does care about his patients.

Dr. Singh agreed to see our son after his 30 day hospitalization at Vanderbilt for 2 brain bleeds. Even our own personal physician of many years said "he's beyond my scope of expertise", as did the others. Dr Singh agreed to be his PCP. He was very nice, took time to fully explain and go over hospital records, medications and our son's condition. We were not only impressed by him but his staff as well. He assured us he would find a neurologist to see him as well and would provide the insurance co. with the a specialist referral. We consider ourselves blessed for finding Dr. Singh.
