Dr Edwards has always been responsive and compassionate.

Dr. Edwards is so kind and attentive to my thoughts and her staff is extremely helpful and nice.

She diagnoise me at the age of 60 with Bipolor 2 and never having been on medication and after coming out of 2 major ear surgeries this year and lossing all my hearing in my right ear I went to her for major tinnitus and needed something to cope with and ended up getting written down for bipolar 2 on my medcal records. How's that for help? When she asked have you had elevated moods, yes! I do when working especially when I get a big job and get excited. Do I stay up at times. Yes, at times. Especially with menopause but guess what, call that bipolar 2 in her book. Had I been on excessive dates that I regreted later. Oh yes, and a ton of them as I was asked out a lot via Match.com and I talked to each guy for a while before I even took the time to meet them in person, in a public place and it was for coffee/lunch or dinner. If you want to call that something odd or strange. Not sure? I call that dating which I did for over 3 years until I met the guy of my dreams. I told her… today I do not accept that she put that diagnoises on my records and she apolgoized and said sorry I can't remove that from my records. I told her that the reasons I answer the way I answer questions are not the same reasons to assume I meet the crities of bipolar 2. My sister is a DR. in physiology and said she is way out of line and I am so far from this diagnoises. I have meet with her less than 3x's and Dr. Edwards has no idea who I am and just spent less than 30 mins with me in total. I am blown away and will never go see her again. I would not recommend Dr. Edwards. She had to rush off and couldn't finish our talk and on video just said, so sorry, gotta go! I was looking at her eyes too today and they were so big I started to wonder what kind of meds she might be on? Like I said, she can assume what she wants and I will assume what I want. I am clean as a kite, exercise, eat healthy, stay fit, and lost my hearing due to a Dr.'s surgical error and that's been a huge ordeal and hard process to cope with and the wang, wang noise in my right ear was unbearable earlier this year and why I went to her...I needed a little coping medication for a short 3 months until they finally fixed the lose prosthesis. Which was Lorazapain. yep and now I am bipolar 2 and she won't remove that from my records because of the way I answered my questions.....wow, wow! Careful what you say or you can be bipolar 2!

Some objective reasons why I gave the rating I did: 1. When Dr. Edwards evaluated me, she asked me only to answer yes or no to questions regarding my mental health. She told me not to worry, that we'd talk more about how I was feeling later, but then several sessions later and she was still curt with me, and would cut me off if I tried to describe how I was feeling and say "well is the med helping, yes or no". I began to dread our meetings like I might dread getting a tooth pulled and never felt listened to or respected. Even then she would only talk to me for less than 10 minutes and that was it. 2. She answered our telehealth meeting one time (she was late) instead of saying "hello how are you" she said "hey next time could you only sign in to the virtual waiting room just one time?". First of all, I had just signed in once. Second of all, hey nice talk doc... 3. I tried to call her about my medication and not feeling like it was working. She never called me back (it's been… several days). Last straw... bye doc. If you need psych help, save yourself the time and don't go to this doctor.

I’ve been working with Dr Edwards for a couple of years now and she has been wonderful. She always listens to my concerns and answers questions I have about possible treatments. She really cares about her patients and our overall well being. Highly recommend.

Amy is a wonderful person who has always listened to me and adjusted meds accordingly. She’s always made me feel comfortable and cared about.

I've been seeing Dr. Edwards for 6 months or so now and I am feeling so much better. I've been seen over 8 different providers over the last 6+ years and I have to say Amy is my favorite so far. Not only does she ask the right questions to get to the bottom of what is going on in your life, but she listens to what you have to say and works with you to draw out a plan that makes you leave her office feeling confident and genuinely cared for. I would recommend her to anyone of my friends and anyone that comes across this review.

Dr. Edward's is what saved my life. After years of different doctors , I have finally found a ppsychiatrist that understood my issues. I'm finally a functional person.

Dr. Edwards was highly recommended to me by 2 different doctors and for good reason. She has been a great resource to me during a very hard time in my life. She meets with me as often as I need, listens to me, and always answers all of my questions. She has been patient and very diligent in finding the appropriate medications that work for me. I would highly recommend Dr. Edwards.

I was concerned about finding a psychiatrist when I moved to Idaho, but Dr. Edwards has made the experience very positive. She was thorough in her initial and follow up questions, easily understood my issues and how they related to my medication, and supportive of my path in life. I highly recommend her.
