Dr. Amy Ellen Rosenman, MD

I have been a meditator for 30 years. I am vegetarian, I practice yoga and I prefer to stay away from pills due to their side effects. Therefore when I had prolapsed rectocele, I waited as long as possible before considering surgery. I interviewed 3 doctors but none felt right. I found out about Dr. Rosenman from a neighbor who had similar problem. She went to see a doctor in Florida who mentioned over and over Dr. Rosenman praising her for her brilliant mind, knowledge, skills, methods and bedside manners. Even though I live 2 hrs drive from L.A. I had Dr. Rosenman perform my surgery. She was exceptional all along the way. She is personal and very professional. She answers promptly any question you have via email. Her staff and assistants are exceptional and sweet. The anesthesiologist was also so attentive to my concerns and so sweet. UCLA Santa Monica hospital is also an amazing facility with dedicated nurses. It's been 6 days since surgery, I feel so good and I have no need… for pain medication. I feel she was a gift in my life.

I do not have the space to say enough wonderful things about Amy! Her personality is so REAL and Very easy to be with! She answers any and all queries in a timely fashion. She is very respectful towards her patients. She stopped by my hospital room the day I was being released Eventhough her assisting Resident had yalready done so! She's a very confident physician and is totally comfortable with husbands joining the discussion visits! She seems to be certain that her surgical team is TOP KNOTCH! I can tell she IS HIGHLY RESPECTED in her field! She does NOT attempt to sell any one type of procedure; she explains every option and details of the options, and prefers that patients choose the option they are comfortable with,. There aren't many physicians like Dr Rosenman. She's very smart, caring, experienced and spends time with patients. She practices patient-centered care and works with the patient ie: mutual discussion, mutual respect, and excellent communication. Very knowledgable. I feel safe with her and trust her. Not test happy.

DR. AMY ROSENMAN IS WONDERFUL. SHE NOT ONLY IS A GREAT DR. BUT SHE TRULY CARES FOR HER PATIENTS. WHEN I ORIGINALLY STARTED GOING TO HER IN 1993 ... I WAS IN REALLY BAD SHAPE (BOTH PHYSICALLY AND FINANCIALLY). SHE ALWAYS TREATED ME REGARDLESS.. HER FIRST CONCERN WAS MY HEALTH AND WELL BEING. SHE IS A GEM. WOULDN'T SEE ANYONE ELSE. SHE ALWAYS MAKES ME FEEL LIKE I AM HER ONLY PATIENT THAT DAY REGARDLESS OF HER EXTREMELY BUSY SCHEDULE.

Dr. Rosenman is a truly excellent doctor. She is extremely patient, very caring, highly knowledgeable in her field and ethical in her practice, and a fierce fighter for her patients. She also always makes herself available to her patients by email, which is extremely comforting for those struggling with ongoing conditions. Highest marks.

Dr. Rosenman is by far my favorit OBGYN the first time i came in to see her, she made me feel comfortable and acknowledged my concerns. She was very knowlegeble of my situations and we disscuessed the options including a biopsy. She was thourough and honest with my OBGYN heath.
