Dr. Amy M Schley, PhD

Dr. Amy is fantastic, direct and to the point. Extremely experienced, helpful, and treats her patients in well rounded manner not only in the home but in the school setting. As her specialty in pediatrics, treats in the family in a sense in order for their to be success and provides great guidance. Came highly recommended to us, and would send refer her personally.

We stopped seeing this woman because I felt like I was wasting our money. Yes, she diagnosed our daughter and gave us some helpful handouts. But those cats drove me nuts, and she yelled at our other daughter who was there with us. Half the session was spent talking about something other than what we came there for. It was the last straw when she basically repeated everything she said at the last session. She is gruff and not a good communicator with children. Please don't go to this woman.

Know it all, rude arrogant woman with unsanitary office and rude staff

My son has always been bright but school seemed harder for him. He was more the athlete, then we took him to Dr. Amy. Now he is receiving awards for art, he was asked to play with the Honors Band, he represented his school in a regional forensics meet. I am so grateful for Dr. Amy's guidance.

We took our son to see her, through recommendation, but did say many people can't handle her, but is the best! I dealt with it because she seemed to like my son, and I would do anything for him. She is the most arrogant, rude and disrespectful person I have ever met!! She alway basically told me, as his mother(I do have medical background)to SHUT UP ,I,AM TALKING!! She did not live with my son everyday and I needed to give her info of what we have been seeing. Also. She did this in front of my son! Why we stayed so long I will probably never get over the guilt!! She hated me from the first moment she saw me. Not an exaggeration. The first few times I would cry all the way home (my husband was there too so he drove my son. Then after awhile both my son and husband would ask me after each session if I was ok? SAD!! We laughed about it for awhile she is SO ARROGANT! All about her!!finally the last appointment my son had things written down that he wanted to talk about, didn't get to… those because she had her own agenda. I tried to ask som advise that was affecting our whole family, told her basically through my tears "our family is falling apart!! Told hour over set weekly appointments, instead of months. I was crying SO HARD I COULEMNOT EVEN SEE MY SCHEDULE ON MY IPHONE!! My son is seeing all of,this!!! Finally , it was my son who told my husband that I can't go,back therel again because of the way she treats mom. My son is the most sensitive, smart and loving kid!! This was going to start affecting our relationship if we didn't leave. I called to say we r not continuing with her and the receptionist says "not surprised happens a lot!! Now having trouble trusting myself to make the right decision with picking a new therapist!!

She is extremely rude, disrespectful, unprofessional, and does not listen at all.
