Dr Ettinger is the best doctor that I've had the honor to know. He is professional and seems to know my diagnosis before it becomes life threatening. I was experiencing problems locating a doctor who could spend more than five minutes with me and my sister, Frances Moore suggested Dr. Ettinger. He saved my life once and I am convinced that he cared as much about me as he did any of his patients. He appeared to enjoy his role as physician. He came to the hospital to comfort my sister when her husband passed away. He is wonderful! If insurance was not a problem, I would return to his care, tomorrow!

very caring dr. dr. ettinger is very thorough in his evaluation of your medical condition. he doesn't take anything for granted. once your evaluation has been completed he encourages you to challenge yourself to be as complete a person as possible. go out and do things. as a person who loves fitness activities he encourages me to maximize my potential. i'm blessed to have such a caring, and encouraging doctor.

Lately he seems more interested in his income than in treating me. Sometimes he is pleasant, and sometimes he seems just plain grumpy. One time I decided to cut short an appointment and reschedule just because he was in such a bad mood. These days I feel like he is mostly interested in the problems that are easy to treat; he said he didn't want to open up a can of worms with some tests -- well they are my worms and I want them gone, so to speak. And yet he diagnosed some difficult problems in the past. I have found it a challenge to reach him when he is on-call when I was seriously ill. Other times he is easily available. He's not affiliated with a hospital, which is worrisome to me. My advice is to look elsewhere.

Dr. Ettinger combines the highest level of knowledge and competence with the highest level of friendly, caring service. I can't imagine anyone not appreciating his intellect, manner and fulfillment of his Hippocratic Oath. He is what every doctor should aspire to - we all thank you, Dr. Ettinger, for being there!!

He is smart, up to date and spends as much time with his patients as needed. I have been a patient for 14 years and he has been a true comfort in all medical situations.
