Dr. Wolanin is a “no nonsense” surgeon that cares deeply for his patients. I would highly recommend Dr. Wolanin and his entire staff .

Outstanding doctor- really cares and amazing at what he does. His PA Jason is also amazing and knowledgeable- the Dynamic Duo! Everyone in office is wonderful!

I have been a patient of the Dr. Wolanin for shoulder issues, and I am now visiting him for knee issues. He is extremely thorough and takes the time to explain in detail all of your options and treatment plans. I truly appreciate he takes into consideration your life style and as an active person he has put me on the path to continue my daily workouts and active life style. Dr Wolanin is a great doctor, and one of the best surgeons I have ever worked with in the OR. Not only is he extremely talented and skilled in orthopaedic surgery, but he will do everything in his power to make sure you receive the best treatment and have the best outcome. He is a very nice guy, and is always complimentary of his OR staff.

I would not go to Dr. Wolanin . He performed a hip replacement on me. Some how a portion of his bill went unpaid, a very small portion in the total cost of the surgery. When I went to his office a few years later for another issue I was denied service. I was also blocked from going to anyone else at the Southwest Orthopedics office. I was unaware of the unpaid bill and I was happy to make good on the bill. But to no avail, there was simply no discussion on their part . I find this very cold and uncaring. Things happen. I'm honest. I currently need medical care and am being refused. Even if it could resolve this at this point I would no longer feel comfortable in his care.

Two knee replacements and a shoulder replacement, Dr. Wolanin has given me the opportunity to enjoy life again! He is an amazing doctor who treated me with compassionate respect and got me moving again! I am so grateful.

Dr took care of my shoulder & knee. He also performed rotator cuff surgery on my husband. He is always extremely professional & fun. I never dreaded a visit with him.

After coming highly recommended, I was extremely disappointed that the doctor performed an extensive ROM assessment without first consulting my file, MRI & x-rays. Very painful!! He did not seem to believe my diagnosis until he left the exam room and looked at my MRI. I will not be returning to this doctor for my surgery.

Highly recommend Dr W, the best there is for surgery, compassionate and skillful. HOWEVER, his staff is horrible ~ the women making the apptmts. act like they are Doctors; handing out medical diagnosis and deciding whether you should come in or not. Also, they are so rude and condescending: patients are in pain. PLEASE Dr W, educate your staff, to make the apptmt., help people in pain, and stop trying to be the doctor!
