Dr. Andrea Jennifer Chamczuk, MD

Awful! Did not review my case with me. Her student reviewed it with me. She walked in and told me she wanted 2 additional tests and she would go over the plan for surgery. I went throu the additional unnecessary tests then when I went for my appt with her she pushed me off on her assistant wouldn't even have the decency to come talk to me and they claim they want me to do more pain management this is ridiculous I'm not a pill person I feel they are pushing people on these pain meds and it's leading to trouble I wanted her to fix my back that's it im 38 years old and im in constant pain that is leading to other serious issues. She was the worst before she sent me to the additional tests she claimed " even after reviewing my MRI that she had to figure out if she was capable of fixing my back if she has to question her abilities that much then she really needs to change her profession. She drug out my visits just so she could bill me insurance. She then suggests I do physical therapy… and epidural injections. She obviously did not read my chart, I've tried both with no success. In fact the space is too narrow to do epidural injections that when I had my last 2 kids the epidural I had didn't work at all . Before leaving her office unsatisfied her assistant was noce enough to tell me i needed to go get another opinion because " there was a reason she wasnt doing her job and hopefully other patients see that" i appricate that ladys honesty , . This is causing a lot of pain. She was the worst Doctor I have ever been to. I'm currently looking for a better doctor.

Andrea J Chamczuk was suppose to care and treat for me but lied to many and would not help my emergency, severe, serious, chronic, medical problems. She is NOT genuine or a good, competent physician. Further she is not trained well and lacks many neurological skills. She will inflict you with much more pains, numbness, problems and more disabilities. She said she and her assistant Shelly would immeditely schedule and provide surgery, treatment, and help me with my severe numerous, and chronic back pains, numbness, and bladder incontinence; but failed me, us at every level. Andrea J Chamczuk said she would accept us as the new physician at Grand Strand Neurosurgical; but failed to do her job and neglected her physicians oath as a medical neurosurgeon. She would not care or help me at all as promised. The worst feedback given for her and this medical practice! They provide bad and incompetent medical tasks, with no real services. She is very dishonest in her words, actions… and she is NOT legitimate! Definitely seek your care elsewhere if you want a better quality of life with real medical service providers!

Horrible experience. First of all, she had her student interview me for 15 minutes. When she finally came in she was pleasant however was not dressed like a doctor but more like a physicians secretary. She came in with nothing, not my chart, records from other doctors, or anything. She then asked a few general questions and told me that some of the pain I am describing isn't indicative of my diagnosis. She not examine me and said "the good news is I don't believe you need surgery. I looked over your MRI results but I didn't bring the MRI with me" I then asked what her recommendations were for me. She explained, "I suggest physical therapy and there's a procedure called epidural steroid injections". This is where I interrupted her and told her that she must not have reviewed my chart very well because I have already tried both of those and no doctor will perform another epidural on me bc my spine is too narrow and the last injected ended with permanent nerve damage. Her only response… was "well like I said you don't need surgery, and that's a good thing". The surgeon I saw after her, said I needed surgery (as well as 4 other doctors) and scheduled me for surgery within 2 weeks of seeing me. Would never refer her and I only gave her a chance due to her being in my medical network.
