Dr. Andrea Lee Mow, DO

Well, my doc is retiring and she sent my records to Dr. Mow. I guess I will never know if she is good or not. They don't answer the phones and they do not return phone calls.

Dr. Mow doesn't deserve the abusive comment I see here. I saw a growth in her general sensitivity and in her trust for me over the year or so that I was her patient. If she would have only disclosed her age to me I might have been able to understand her perspective better and thus explain in reasonable terms how she might justify more sensitivity in responding to complaints that have come to be regarded by many psychiatrists as in need of correction. Her facility is located near a jail, and forensic preoccupations have 'seeped' into the hospital's view on medication adherence. She is not responsible for that nor for the paranoid obsessive personalites of many Westchester mental health officals of which she, a resident in training, is apparently unaware. She is also competant, caring psychologist over and against a county mental health system that does everything it can to engineer the ill and their advocates into zombies.
