Dr. Andrea Schaeffer

We had a brief but Good experience with Dr Schaeffer. She was on call when I was having my baby. She came when I had my husband notify the staff I needed to push. She was attempting to put her gloves on when he literally slid right out of the birth canal (I had an unplanned epidural for the first time) and she stooped down to catch him. She said it was her first time delivering without gloves - There was no time!! She was so pleasant, and I had asked about her age because she has a very youthful appearance. Dr Schaeffer has a very sweet, kind demeanor and it was obvious she is a dedicated and passionate Doctor. She was there at the hospital late at night and back again so early in the morning, looking somehow refreshed. When I asked her how she could do it, she said she loved what she did! I have never been to an appointment to see Dr Shaeffer, however our time with her was very pleasant and that was almost 3 years ago now, May 2023. I'm sure she's grown in her skills and practice in… three years. If I'm not mistaken, she was learning from Dr. DeCesare at the time, whose prenatal care I was placed under for high risk with my blood pressure.
