Dr. Andreas David Runheim, MD

I was sick & going 2 many drs & going thru many tests when I found Dr Runheim. Of course he had to run lots of tests also but when it was confirmed he told me he could of told me the first day I walked in but he had to confirm. And right away he was putting me on the toughest treatment. He was so caring and compassionate. I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and kept running into problems w/treatments either side effects or I was just getting worse. He has wonderful PA’s in the office that r awesome so I don’t see him every time but if I see him there he will stop to see how I am doing and if I ever want to see him I have no problem getting a appointment with him. I have moved further away since I started seeing him but I will continue to go to him. And since I had to stop driving so it makes it harder but when u find a dr like him and everyone in his office has been great I would be lost if I had to find a new dr.

Been to see dr runheim. Very inattentive while conducting nerve study test. Did not seem to attend to my needs. He was texting on facebook and on smart watch while doing the test. Was not paying attention. Did not seem to be focused when asking questions. Time to find somebody else

I had seen Dr. Runheim for approximately 9 years. In the beginning, he was very attentive and sympathetic to my needs. Over the years, that’s changed tremendously. He spends no longer than 5 minutes with me, and he has even sit and texted during our visit! I was appalled! I wanted to make an appt to come in and discuss medications with him and the nurses said that he could not allow that. I could only come in if I was having a treatment (epidurals, nerve conduction studies, injections), and I’m assuming that’s because he makes more money that way. I used to love Dr. Runheim about 9 years ago...now, I don’t know what’s happened to him! He hands out scripts and leaves everything else to his nurses. It’s completely ridiculous! I have found a pain management doctor who listens to me, who is attentive and sympathies with my pain and my needs. I thank God for that!

Dr. Runheim is a great neurologist. I am a patient of his for several years. Joyce Berrier

Dose not give you his full attention. Text on phone while he is in exam room with you then rushes you out so he can make phone call. I'm still not sure how he wants me to take my medicine.

I have been seeing Dr. Runheim for several years now. I was going to a Mount Airy neurologist, but couldn't get any kind of help or answers. My insurance company told me that he was in network, so I called and got an appointment; I don't regret one minute of the decision I made. Very professional and caring.

He has been a wonderful neurologist...I've been going to him for years, and he was able to diagnose my nerve problems...gave me the proper medications that eased my symptoms. Highly recommend!

I have seen Dr. Runheim three times and have been pleased with his professionalism, his compassion and the information shared. I have to ask the questions that I have and his answers are brief yet precise and adequate. I will continue to go as needed!

Runheim has no relationship with his patients with communication. He’s in to give you meds after more meds and more meds. 2 hours of wait time, 10 minutes or less with the doctor. Stay AWAY at see someone else. Your life is more valauable.

Be prepared to wait 2+ hrs. in a room while he and his staff enjoy a breakfast or lunch provided by a drug rep instead of seeing you. When someone does finally come in the room, it's not even the physician you are scheduled with. No exam. Just an offer of meds. No one ever answers the phone and when you do reach a live person, you are just transferred to a voicemail to leave a message. Don't expect a return call for 2+ weeks either. How they are still practicing is beyond me?
