I have been a patient of Dr Cordova for a long time , when I fell in the back yard he did my neck and back ! Since than I also was in a bad car crash and he fix my neck and back all over again, the man knows his stuff , his staff is Amazing, Andrews sports medicine takes very could care of you , I have seen it grow so much in 10 years !!! I would definitely recommend him and there practice of Doctors!!

My visit with Dr. Cordover couldn't be stated any better than excellent. His staff was very courteous and friendly, efficient and thorough. Katie, his PA-C, conducted my initial assessment and was thorough, careful, and thoughtful. She made me feel welcome and was very attentive. Dr. Cordover listened intently as I discussed my issues and a recent injury to my back. He, too, was very attentive, friendly, and spent adequate time with me. My issues are complex, but he took the time to go over the X-rays and MRI with me. He gave me a plan on how to proceed, which gave me great confidence in him as a neurosurgeon. Dr. Cordover is the best! I drive an hour and a half because I want the best care possible! I can assure you that is what you get! I would not trust any one else! He is very caring and listens to all your concerns! I love the way he gets everything done for you while you are there and saves you another days trip! I drive from Winfield to see Dr. Cordover. I love the fact he does not push surgery on you and I really love that he listens to his patients.

Working in physical therapy, I am no stranger to the effects of chronic back pain as seen with my patients and from my own personal experience. I’m familiar with going through the conservative measures as well as surgical interventions to address it having had my first lumbar surgery in 2015. Earlier this year, I had two surgeries by Dr Cordover and would 100% absolutely recommend him. Even on my first visit I was impressed by being able to have a two way conversation with professionals that actually talked to me and not at me. During our discussions about surgical options, Dr Cordover remained transparent, patient and open to discuss what was important to me. I have never encountered a doctor that actually takes the time and cares enough to allow me, as the patient, to be fully informed and part of the final decision making concerning my upcoming surgery. Usually you get the “my way or the highway” attitude and then hope and pray for the best. For this reason, I have a great respect… and trust for Dr Cordover and his excellent team. I know that everyone’s recovery experience is different but, I can truthfully say, that I had minimal discomfort (no pain) and was up walking without needing assistance shortly after each surgery. The debilitating pain that I had experienced before has not returned since the surgical interventions and I am currently 5 months out. My quality of life has drastically improved being able to sleep through the night, return to work and enjoy activities that I could not do before. I am sincerely grateful to Dr Cordover and his team at Andrew’s Sports Medicine and will definitely recommend him to anyone who could benefit from his expertise.

A little bit long wait- nurse practitioner was spot on her name is Flanagan- I was just expecting a quick handshake from the doctor, but that is far from what I got! I was thoroughly impressed with the patience, knowledge, and time he spent with me , as well as my next steps for my pinched nerve I would surely recommend him because he is straightforward and Transparent

Dr Cordover is very good. He listens to what you have to say and did an amazing job at getting my back pain under control
