Dr. Andrew Joseph Edwards, MD

Dr. Edwards is a phenomenal physician. He absolutely cares for his patients and takes the time to get to know them personally as well as medically. After having a miscarriage, he was extremely compassionate towards my husband and myself and then took excellent care of me during my following pregnancy. He listened to each and every concern I had and I never felt like a burden or bother when expressing fears or worries. I work in healthcare and have had a great deal of interaction with hundreds of physicians. I have never met another doctor who genuinely cares about his patients like Dr. Edwards does. I received incredible care from my very first appointment with him after moving to Savannah to each postpartum appointment after having my son. I am so grateful that Dr. Edwards was a part of our pregnancy story and will continue to use him as my OB/GYN indefinitely.

Dr. Edwards is amazing! He listens to what you say! I'm 60 years old and doing the hormone pellet therapy I have never felt so good... thank you Dr. Edwards you're simply the best !

Dr. Joe is an excellent OB/GYN. I have been his patient for 25 years, because he is very knowledgeable and seeks the best for his patients. He delivered all three of my children safely without incident. I have found him to be honest, realistic and forthcoming. I appreciate this, because I want the truth and I know he cares. He is concerned about my total health, and he wants me to be at my best. He takes the time to have a conversation with me about what’s going on in my life and with my family. He is also very funny, and has a great sense of humor. His Nurse, Karen, Dr. Pettigrew as well as her Nurse, Lindsey, and all of the Staff are very insightful and very supportive. They work as a team to give the best health care to their patients. The office is welcoming, and the Staff is receptive and pleasant. I treasure Dr. Joe as a doctor, and I highly recommend him.

WORSE EXPERINECE EVER ! Due to relocation I had to change my Atlanta doctor to Savannah. First of all, I have to wait an hour till they asked me to come to the office, then 40 minutes in the office before doctor even came. He came in asked me couple questions, barely even looked at me and told that everything is fine. Nobody took any analysis from me, he was super in rush as he had a bunch of patient waiting for him. If you want to be treated well and have your first pregnancy enjoyable , do not go to him! Research more and you will find better doctor in Savannah arear.

Dr. Joe sure does like to do all kinds of surgery. Especially ones that are not necessary! He did an ultrasound on my daughter but didn't check for tubal patency at the time. Then he decides he wants to do laparoscopic surgery on her. He is going to make a bundle on them. Just read his reviews! He loves to do c sections too! Also no one should leave a doctor's office crying ever! Many red flags. Run for your life and your wallet. Always more money and more recovery time with surgery. Especially ones that are not necessary. Do you homework ladies. Look before you leap. You may be in for the endless surgery and tests of a lifetime.

I met Doctor Joe 24 years ago when I was pregnant with my second child. Through the years, Doctor Joe has given me outstanding care not only during my pregnancies but during other obstacles as well. Some years ago, I had a medical concern and because Doctor Joe is an outstanding listener and is very proactive, he sent me for additional testing. I am so grateful that he cared enough to send me for this additional testing since my results were not at all what I had hoped for. However, being his patient, I knew that I would not only get the best care from him, but he would also send me to the best doctors in Savannah. On the days of my surgeries, even though I was not Doctor Joe’s patient, he stopped in to see me. His visit gave me reassurance that all was going to be fine. To this day, I am so thankful that he is my medical care provider as I know that he will be there for any medical issues when needed.

Dr Edwards is the WORST OB I’ve encountered by far! This is my 3rd pregnancy and he made my first visit with him more of a interrogation. When I was open and Honest about some prior things in my relationship that I felt the need to bring up due to possible issues with my current pregnancy he turned into Jerry springer / Maury ! He Began bashing me and asking me irrelevant questions and making assumptions that was frankly none of his business. The entire 15 mins of my first visit was very uncomfortable and horrific I knew right then and there I didn’t want to be any kind of patient of his! I immediately Left the the office after blood work and found a new OB while I sat in the car crying on how judgmental he was. I thought as a OB your suppose to build a positive relationship due to me having to see him for the next 9 months in my life but he made it a living nightmare for me ! Then !!! When I transferred to a better OB they received the blood work from that visit and he was still… bashing me ! So if you like drama from old bitter men he’s the one to see , if not run as far and you can from him and his office so you don’t be a victim on the jerry springer show like I was. If I could give no stars or negative stars I would give him none or -115 because he’s the worst In all of Savannah ladies ! Don’t be a victim to this Perpetrator!

Dr. Edward’s has been my doctor for over 20 years and has been nothing but spectacular!
