Andrew Friessen, DO

I had my hip replaced by Dr. Andrew Friesen using the anterior approach, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with how everything went. He’s one of the most down-to-earth doctors I’ve ever met—easy to talk to, straight with his answers, and he explains things in a way that actually makes sense. He treated me with respect and never made me feel rushed or like just another patient on the list. Before coming to him, I’d been to a few other places in eastern Iowa that couldn’t even offer the anterior hip approach, and the difference in care was night and day. Dr. Friesen and his surgical team really went above and beyond. They took the time to listen, helped me understand exactly what to expect, and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. The surgery went great, my recovery was way quicker than I expected, and I was back to work before I knew it. You can tell Dr. Friesen truly cares about his patients. I’d recommend him and his team to anyone around here needing orthopedic… care. Five stars isn’t enough!
