Egocentric, quirky, "specialist" in what? I would run if I heard his name.

Well the last time I was supposed to have surgery for a kidney stone and it was rescheduled 3 times, when we finally got it scheduled, I passed it the day before surgery. It took a month. Now I am trying to schedule a lithotripsy procedure for one I can not pass, and well it has been 2 weeks, and I have not heard anything, only this one, is to big to pass on my own, so I wait..It will probably move before anything's scheduled..:( But who do you go to? I just wonder if they are understaffed sometimes.. but not sure..

Never could remember what my problem was- like he never checked my chart. Saw him every three weeks or so and every time he said I had a uti and would prescribe me antibiotics. Even after he put me on a daily preventative antibiotic - I'd still "have" one at my follow up and I didn't have any symptoms! Finally saw someone else who looked through all my tests and said that I'd only had two the entire time. Always seemed busy and never spent time listening to what I had to say about my symptoms.

Dr. G is very courteous, understanding and explains everything to me. Never have had an issue with any appointments.

NEEDS MUCH IMPROVEMENT WITHIN THE STAFF.....

He doesn't offer any verbal help. You have to ask each time, each question. Doesn't warn you of problems, pain etc that is associated your problem, Seems a little annoyed when you ask. He carries a fake smile always. I like him, but after 15 years approx. I have his procedures figured out.

I don't know how his office works, but everytime I get an appointment, i have to wait usually an hour later than it is scheduled. I have walked out more than once. But I feel I am stuck with this doctor. Last one, many years ago, here at the beach, was booted out of practice.With Dr. G, it's always overbooked then rushed. If my appointments take 5 to 10 mins. and he rushes me, then maybe its because I use Medicare?I like him, but lots of improvment needed.I rated the follow-up part excellent, because there is always a "follow-up"
