loves to use medication as a first line treatment for small disorders

When making the appointment asked if they take my companies insurance..they replied yes...when got to the appointment they kept asking for a co-pay..which that is not how my companies insurance works....

Had my first and LAST appointment with Dr. Heritch October, 2016. I was on time for my appointment. Had to wait over 45 minutes, so while in restroom he came out for me and my wife told him I was in the restroom and he told her "I'm already running behind" Well we were there on time for our appointment. He was very disinterested in what I was there for and had me out of there in 10 minutes. I found him to be rude and disinterested.

I have had 2 appointments with him and won't go back. He tried to add a medication after I gave him a VERY brief description of a problem. Didn't ask any questions, didn't explain to me what the issue was, didn't tell me how the new medication would help me. Seemed annoyed that I asked questions. He barely looked at me during either appointment.

The doctor has little manners and spends about 5 minutes talking with me. He has contradicted his own notes while I was going for disability. He said in a questioner i was indefinitely disabled but his notes said i was doing "well". Would NOT recommend him as a doctor.

He is a classic "pill roller. He doesn't much want to talk. If you want to talk about your problems, he'll be happy to schedule you with an appointment with one of his Psychologists who will talk to you about just about anything.

Seems extremely disinterested during visits-almost as if you're imposing on his time. If you're looking for anything other than a prescription refill, or any type of personal service, you're probably better off going elsewhere.

doesn't listen, just a legal prescription pusher. Had me on so many drugs, I didn't know which end was up.

In all fairness, not many psychiatrists really know how to care for patients with drug-resistant depression. Not really. He's just very ordinary, and perhaps a bit less interested acting than most. Pity those of us whose cries remain unheard.
