I've been dealing with this issue for so long and I finally feel like I'm being seen and heard. It was a such a relief.

He treated my son from birth and caused irreparable harm. My son was showing signs of an infection (verified by our nurse) and we brought him in for evaluation multiple times. He dismissed our concerns and said everything was fine. It was not fine. A day after our last visit to have him re evaluated for an infection he had a 10 minute seizure and we had to call an ambulance. He had developed a brain abscess and required surgery. My son regressed as a result of his neglect. As parents we were new to the medical world and trusted everything he said. My son then started displaying shunt malfunction symptoms months later. Dr. Jea once again dismissed this and said everything was fine. At the encouragement of another doctor we requested a 2nd opinion. There was indeed a shunt malfunction and my son was… rushed off to surgery. I understand people make mistakes and we are all human. However, he never even said he was sorry. Proceed with caution!

Our daughter had a 47 degree curve in her back and has had constant back pain for years. Dr Jae did surgery and put metal plates and rods in her back. She now has 20 degree curve. He was so helpful and took te time to talk with us. Best doctor ever

Dr. Jea is a lifesaver! After 6 months and 3 different Spine Specialists telling us our daughter was faking her pain Dr. Jea correctly diagnosed her problem and fixed it! Dr. Jea will spend as much time answering questions as he needs to make sure you are comfortable with his diagnosis and plan for treatment. He was never short or annoyed with any questions. His nurse Allyson is wonderful as well. She was always available and very happy to help! After deciding on surgery Allyson emailed an article with pictures that explained our daughter's surgery in detail. Dr. Jea and his Staff are very compassionate and listened to any concern we had. My daughter is finally pain free and living a normal life because of Dr. Jea!

He diagnosed my daugther with a tethered cord and a syrinx. He did the surgery to release her tethered cord and the surgery was a success. The syrinx hasn't resolved but the tethered cord has not retethered and it has been 2 yrs.

I have never met a doctor with a better bedside manner. He is so caring and knowledgeable. He was very gentle with my son and even came in on day off to check on him at the hospital. He doesnt leave the room until you have asked all your questions and never rushes you. The only doctor in my life that has restored faith in the medical community.

Dr. Jea is absolutely amazing. His diagnosis saved our daughter's life. He is always willing to spend additional time explaining things to us so that we can understand our daughter's condition, and he will do anything to help. He researches information for us that he presents at every visit. He has called our daughter's school to speak with her teachers about her condition,and sent letters of explanation all as a courtesy to us. He is very approachable. You just feel so comfortable and at ease when he is in the room. His staff is also wonderful as well, which is very important to us. Our daughter has a very rare condition & had we had any other doctor, it probably would have gone undiagnosed. This doctor and his staff go above and beyond for their patients and will do whatever they can to help. We have called several times without any notice and asked them to send a release form, etc. to our daughter's school and they always get it done right away. We are so happy with Dr. Jea and… look forward to to seeing him and his staff at every visit.
