Dr. Andrew Abramson Roth, MD

Dr. Roth comes off as an outgoing, caring doctor. I went there as a new patient and thought he seemed nice. On subsequent visits I wasn’t treated like a human, I was more of a case or robot or practice mannequin. The staff in the front are rude but the nurses are all really nice. Had a problem and first saw doctor Roth about it. He said they’d send urine to the lab for tests and I’ll be called with the results. Never heard back. However, he gave me a small dose of antibiotics while we waited for the results. Came back after two weeks and this time saw Dr. Roth’s assistant . Really nice lady I felt comfortable talking to and she helped me and suggested some over the counter drugs to help relieve possible causes. She took a swab and urine sample and said I’d be called in three days. Nothing happened. After about a week I called and they said dr Roth will call me back. Unfortunately I missed the call but he’d left a voicemail. I listed to the most insensitive spew of the tests being… negative and to call his assistant if I had any more problems. I still had my symptoms and upon diagnoses elsewhere, the cause was found. Maybe he’s really good with his old patients, but I’d advise new patients to go elsewhere if you want a doctor thats there to actually help you and not leave an insensitive voicemail for tests results. It’s really expensive to go there too even with insurance

I had the highest regard for Dr. Roth until a recent medication problem. I was out of diabetic medication, called pharmacy for refill. They contacted Dr. Roth as I had no refill and he refused the refill until I came in. So over the weekend I had none of this vital medication. I’m shocked this happened, been a patient for many years. Now, I think I’m done.

You will not find a more accessible or dedicated physician. Dr. Roth is the one that personally talks to you at the beginning of each visit to ascertain your concerns. He picks up the phone and personally calls with test results and to answer questions. He may not always tell you what you want to hear, but he will tell you what you need to hear. He has great passion for his profession and patients.

Went for the convenience and this doctor was pleasant and helpful at first as other reviewers have reported. However, when complications arose, his changing diagnosis's and series of treatments continued to make things worse, and when I questioned yet another treatment he was pushing, wow, the nice attitude evaporated and he was condescending and sarcastic. Thanks to his paper thin walls, I could hear a similar exchange with another patient who dared to question him. Fortunately I fled to a new doc, who was not only respectful and kind, but who got the diagnosis and treatment right and literally gave me my life back. I am incredibly grateful every day that I trusted my instincts and left there.

Next year will be my 20th year with Dr. Andy. From the age of 17 till now I have never felt uncomfortable. The staff, most of whom have been there just as long, make you feel like your a dear friend. He helped me through three incredibly difficult and scary pregnancies. My kids are actually excited to go to Dr. Andys with Mom. From my physical to my mental health this entire office has been a lifesaver. I don't want to think about ever finding another doctor.

I love this doctor! It's such a shame he has such poor staff. I have been seeing Dr. Roth since last summer, and he is a kind, competent man. However, I have had problems with one staff member every time I come in. This staff member called Nicole is condescending, absurdly unprofessipnal, rude, and doesn't really seem to know what she's doing. Not the type of person you want coming near you in a medical setting.

After being refered to Dr. Roth by my neighbor I called and had a specific health question. His secretary took my name and number for him to return my call. I was thinking, yeah right like he's gonna call me back, Im not even a patient of his. To my suprise HE DID! We spoke on the phone for 10 minutes and he assured me he could help. I saw him and he was WONDERFUL! I am switching OBGYN as we speak!

Patient, Witty, Charming, very knowledgeable and beside manner awesome!!!!!!! Always available and returns calls promptly. Have been in our family for 3 gererations and would not even think of seeing any one else.

Dr. Roth makes time for everyone. He is friendly, yet direct. I think of myself as an anxious patient, but he still encourages me to follow the treatment plan in a very caring and respectful way. He answers my questions again and again w/o arrogance. He has a methodical pace that he keeps to ensure he fits all his patients into the schedule and tries not to make them feel like a number. I've presented as a challenging patient at times and haven't always followed recommendations. He's always right in the end. He's a good man.

A friend referred me to her doctor which was Dr. Roth. I intended to see him for merely a 2nd opinion but loved his jovial personality and his approach to fertility treatment that I never looked anywhere else and became his patient from then on out. He is often available to take my calls directly or if not when I call in, he has always called me back when he says that he is going to. He has even seen me in his office with a nurse on a Sunday after hours for matters that needed his urgent attention. He is very approachable and I've felt comfortable asking him any type of questions involving the process. He is fantastic all around!
