Dr. Andri Olafsson

An amazing surgeon. I’ve had two major surgeries with Dr. Olafsson, one year apart. The first was an emergency to save my life, lost a few feet of intestines and had to have an ostomy placed. I was in such bad shape it require many more hours of surgery than anticipated, went late into the night. The 2nd surgery was to remove the ostomy (reversal). It was a perfect operation in every sense of the word. Other surgeons didn’t want to attempt Laparoscopic surgery due to open approach done before, but Dr. Olafsson was able to successfully reverse the ostomy via scopes saving me months of recovery and pain. He’s well respected by the hospital staff, every nurse and technician I talked to in my extended hospital stays reflected this. I wouldn’t hesitate to have Dr. Olafsson operate on me again.
