Dr. Angela Lynn Cartwright, DO

Dr. Cartwright is the best doctor! She makes you feel so comfortable and so honest! I wish all doctors could be like her!! I recommend her to all my friends and family!

So, so awful. I had a similar experience to another commenter. I went to her out of necessity once after my doctor left the practice. I thought her bedside manner was odd- she enjoys high fives and fist bumps, which I feel is unprofessional. No one want a fist bump on the exam table. She talks fast, and does not seem to care about her patients. I had a severe concussion and tried to make my annual check up, but would be too sick (dizzy, couldn’t drive) every time I had an appointment and would reschedule, thinking a medical professional was compassionate and understanding of my condition. Anyway, I tried to schedule an appt during the covid epidemic, because my symptoms were reduced and I had time off. They weren’t taking check-ups. I called the office and asked again for her to call me, because I needed an essential rx refilled (not bc). This was on a Thursday. On Saturday, I received a letter she was dropping me as a patient, which was fine because I did not care to be her… patient. Do not waste your time or risk your health.

I am 19 and have bad pain and bleeding after sex and my periods are very painful. I tried seeing her for it and she told me there is nothing she could do, other than a ultrasound or something along those lines. They told me I was constipated and would not let that rest. Yes I was backed up but how the heck does that make my vagina bleed???? That does not add up. When things kept getting worse and I was in a lot of pain I’d tried going in, I made an appointment for doctor Cartwright but was thrown on to a nurse practitioner as soon as I got there, never asking if it was okay if this lady got up close and personal. I decided to stop going there after I called one day because my period started (which my birth control was supposed to stop) and I need some help, she got real rude in the phone and told me she didn’t know what to tell me but like your a trained professional so how do you not know. Well a while later I said I didn’t wanna go there anymore to them. I got in the mail a letter… saying that they aren’t accepting me anymore but will provide 30 days care until I find someone else, so tell me why when I tried to call to get my birth control filled (because or corona pretty much everywhere is closed) they wouldn’t fill it, so much for that letter being accurate. I would not recommend going to her. She obviously doesn’t care about the health of women that much.

Would not visit again.

Dr Cartwright is upbeat, personable, confident and knowledgeable. My first OB retired many years ago and I didn’t think I’d ever find someone to replace him. Though I’ve seen her only once, I am almost certain that she’s the doctor I’ve been looking for. I am pretty choosy as I am also a physician. Bottoms line: I’d recommend her to anyone who is in search of a straightforward, grounded and caring OB-GYN doctor.

Dr. Cartwright is by far the best gynecologist I have ever had. She is always very upbeat and takes the time to make sure she answers any concerns I may have. Dr. Cartwright has been my gyn for at least 8 years and I always feel I get the best care possible.

She is the best! She's professional but down to earth. Definitely does a great job to keep you at ease. She is phenomenal!!!

The doctor told me I had a bladder infection, but it turned out to be Kidney cancer.

I have never felt more cared for. Everyone on the staff from dr Cartwright to Julie who helped schedule my surgery was so kind.
