Dr. Angela Kathleen Dawson, MD

As a longtime patient of Dr. Dawson, I can say with absolute confidence she is the best doctor I have ever seen. She is thorough, thoughtful, and extremely helpful. I owe my life to Dr. D!

Very rude and uncaring. Always in a rush and pushes medication without a thorough review of patients information. Makes quick diagnosis within minutes of speaking to patient or listening at all because she is too busy. Talks down to patients. Would not recommend because more damage than help is provided!

I had a crisis (I never call her)) after a bad car wreck. She never called me back. Her so called nurse kept trying to diagnose me and ultimately said The soonest she could see me was like a month away. Bad customer service and medical care.

Doesn’t listen, doesn’t explain, doesn’t care.

I had struggled a lot in school with keeping up my grades and staying interested in my schoolwork and I had always thought it was just because I wasn't smart enough. I went to Dr. Dawson my freshmen year for anxiety and through the course of my second session she asked if I had trouble focusing in school. I never thought my problem with school was actually a treatable illness. She put me on Vyvanse to treat my ADHD and I never would have thought it would change my life so much. I now am on honor roll and making straight A's and I discovered that a lot of my anxiety was coming from my inability to complete tasks and stay focused. I am so thankful for Dr. Dawson and she has been so supportive of me, I always look forward to seeing her and she always has candy! :)

I was misdiagnosed with bipolar disorder, even though it was later determined that I merely had Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), and before she diagnosed me with this she treated me fir depression; 3 years and she was way off. For the past 2 years life has been great under another physician who diagnosed me correctly right away,

I felt that Dr. Dawson was kind knowagable and listened closely to what I was saying. I've had very few (VERY few) docters really do that and then try to find ways to help me like she has.

I was a complete train wreck before coming under the care of Dr. Angela Dawson. I understand she has moved away which has saddened me greatly. She was a gift from God at a most critical time in my life for which I am tremendously grateful.

My daughter has been seeing this Dr. for about a year for prescription meds for ADD. On this date I met with this doctor at a scheduled appointment for my daughter. I attempted to point out to her an incident of poor customer service from her after hours answering service. She was not responsive to this and actually took no responsibility or offered any appologies. I thought this to be very unprofessional and would not recomened this doctor or her unresponsive answering service. This doctor has forgotten who the customer is...
