Dr. Angela Claire Mcelwee, MD

After 8 years of pain and suffering, Dr. McElwee uncovered what other doctors neglected. She takes her time, she tries different approaches, and she cares. I now live in MI and I plan on going to chicago just to see her. There is no other doctor, in my opinion that is better than McElwee.

First of all, it's incredibly difficult to get an appointment or ever speak to your physician due to their answering service that screens all calls and makes communicating with your doctor impossible.Once you are able to jump through the necessary hoops and actually get an appointment with your doctor, you expect them to be caring and have enough time for you to answer your questions.Dr McElwee was not caring, was in a hurry when I met with her and was frankly quite snippy. Don't waste your time with Advocate Medical Group or Dr McElwee if you want to be treated with respect and in a caring manner. There are just too many doctors that still actually care to waste your time.

Truly the epitome of what every woman looks for in an OBGYN - kind, smart, sensitive. Highly suggest her!
