Too quick, not thorough enough

I have kept Dr. Ong-Veloso as my doctor for 6 years. He has always treated me with respect. This doctor has compassion and always attends to my needs. The entire staff at Western Medical is beyond compare!

You can tell the people who have given a good rating for this doctor work for him and see the different results for people that who actually had seen him! This doctor should loose his ability to treat people! He really is a bad doctor!

Only one in town running on time

Average time spent with me is 10 min.Doesn't seem to know who you are unless he looks at the chart.shows no concern of my well being.talkes with his back turned to me.Did next to know follow up after an ER visit for Chest pain.Very poor over all performance..

I have seen this doctor for two years since i had no idea about the fact that he was going to do what he did to me! I was ten minutes late to my last appointment and it was to have my pain meds refilled he canceled my appointment and this left me with out any meds for two weeks i am in severe pain i asked for my pain meds the next day after my appointment and did not get them until two weeks later when i went to pick up my file because i am going to go to a different doctor because i do not deserve to be treated like this by him! Also his staff are very rude! Do not go to this doctor there are much better than this in this city!

Dr. Ongveloso is a great doctor. His Medical Assistant Michelle is even better. The two of them really do care about thier patients. I always feel so welcome every time I have to go for a visit. They are highly recomended by me.

Apathetic staff, poor follow up. Dr. Ong-Veloso is slow to treat, un-responsive to written requests, the time between getting test results and seeing the doctor is un-acceptable; I have waited up to 8 weeks to be treated for an ailment. Referrals take months to get processed, files lay on the medical assistants desk for weeks before they are processed. There is no follow up on important issues. Requests for treatment and denied by insurance companies due to poor documentation preparation by support staff. There is always a 10-20 minute wait to reach the doctors office by phone. Overall this practice is overbooked and understaffed; the apathy is only surpassed by the lack of attention given to the patient.

Dr. Ong-Veloso is a very execellent doctor, and make sure that you leave his office with answers and knowledge of any problems and he gets the problems fixed or tested.I trust this doctor with my life.He is the best doctor that i have for in az. and that i would recommend him to anyone, he is 5 stars.he is very trustworthy.i would'nt trade him as a doctor for any other doctor in this city.God Bless him for all the medical attention that he has given me for over 2 yrs.
