Dr. Angelo Stano Paola, MD

Do not waste your time booking an appointment with this office. I received an automated call with a reminder for my appointment. I attempted to call and left a voice mail to confirm. I received no response. I proceeded to the office only to find out the voice mail contained the incorrect information and sent me the wrong location. I was redirected to the correct office and I arrived 15 mins past my appointment time. The front desk receptionist said that I was late and the practitioner would not see me. I explained the situation but it was obvious by her body language that she did not care that I received the wrong location information. I asked to speak to someone else. In the mean time another office staff member (Mandy) was asked about my situation by the desk receptionist. She replied so loudly that the entire waiting room could hear her say "He was late, he needs to reschedule his appointment." She was in a hallway, behind a partial partition and could be heard very clearly in the… waiting room. The office manager then came out (Holly). While she was more professional and polite that the rest of the staff, she said it was not possible to be seen. She said I shouldn't have received the message with the incorrect information and she understood that all calls had been returned which they have not been. At that point it was clear that I did not want to return to that location.

Well I was not impressed with this doctor. He was rude and arrogant in my opinion. He is the type of doctor who does not explain anything and thinks you should not question his recommendation. Stay away if you have questions like me.

Dr. Payola is a phenomenal doctor. He is very concerned about his patients, and makes his patients feel as if they are part of his family. He is very detailed when describing any diagnosis he makes and all available options for treatment. He does not overbook appointments, and is never late seeing his patients (wait time is usually less than 5 minutes, if any wait at all).

Dr. Paola performed 2 surgeries on me. He removed a gallstone and he removed a kidney stone. Both were difficult surgeries that he did with the utmost skill. Dr. Paola is very astute. He listens. His diagnosis is always perfect. He is very empathetic. His advice is great. I know 2 friends who also rave about this man after their surgeries. I send all my friends to him and my brother, too.

This guy is phenomenal. Super caring and empathy. A good listener. Expert analysis and expert surgical skills. I had a very difficult kidney stone that he removed masterfully. I also had a bladder stone that he removed skillfully along with cleaning out my prostate. All his predictions come true. He is cheerful, helpful and very knowledgeable. I sent him a bonus check of $500 and he refused it.

Dr. Paola is very professional, AND has a great bedside manner. He and his nurse are very caring. The kind of doctor you don't find very often any more.
