Dr. Anita Holman, MD

I wanted to see this physician but when I attempted to make an appointment, I was treated rudely, and lied to by the person on the phone. I was told the office doesn't take Medicare, BCBS or any MedicareAdvantage plans. I checked with my provider and she does take my insurance and how ridiculous to think that she wouldn't see patients 65+. I was transferred to a clinic where I couldn't get an appointment for almost 5 months. Think before you patron this office. No matter how god a doctor she might be, she's not the only one, and the doctor sets the tone for the office

I am unfortunately having an awful experience. I never write reviews - good or bad - because I feel that my experience may be different than someone else's; however, I am so disturbed by the treatment I have received that I am writing this review. I have now been trying to get Dr. Anita Holman to call me back for 3 weeks since my birth control pills that I have been on for 20 years are not being sold due to COVID. After multiple calls, she will not call me back to prescribe a different pill. I have not been able to buy a new pack. Having to go on and off medication is very difficult on a women's body. Putting a patient through that because a doctor will not return calls is unacceptable.

Extremely rude and disrespectful towards myself and my family. Did not care to hear my concerns at all and was very unprofessional - I could hear her talking about me outside and making jokes. She was yelling at staff throughout the visit too. Would NOT recommend.

Wonderful doctor caring and thoughtful

I was very comfortable with Dr. Anita Holman and was very upset to find out she is no longer with Jamaica Medial Center.

Terrible nasty attitude, talks down to you, made me uncomfortable during examination, inside jokes with nurse while examining me which is very rude and disrespectful , comes off as ghetto and unprofessional, she acted as if she was exasperated and annoyed when I told her my concerns or feelings overall she needs to really work on her people skills. I personally wouldn't see her again but On a positive note her office was clean and wait time is good

she was very condescending towards me and spoke to me like i was a child. i never had a doctor be so rude to me. she made me feel ashamed and uncomfortable. i never went back.

This doctor is the best at what she does and is very caring to the needs of her patients. She is the first ob/gyn that I feel comfortable with in years!

My eperience with Dr.Holman was GREAT!she delivered my baby. She is very throrough and is attentive to all my needs.
