Dr. ANITA IYER

I had to undergo a procedure that had to be done at the hospital. I had to be there at 9am for an 11am procedure. I had to fast of all food for 12 hours before the procedure and no liquids after 7am. My husband and I were informed at 11am that Dr. Iyer was at a different hospital delivering a baby. We received no other information. Time went by and I became very hungry and inpatient. At 2pm my husband finally called her office and they said they would try to track her down and get some info for us. They called back, but had no info about when she would be there for my scheduled procedure. My husband received a call from her office at 3:30pm letting us know that she was on her way. She arrived at 4pm, 5 HOURS LATE. She was not apologetic and tried to gain sympathy from us because she had a long day. She didn't check in with me or my husband after. She said she would call with my test results and I never heard from her. I called her office and received a negative attitude… from the staff. I will be getting a new dr. after 15 years with her.

This woman is awful. She misdiagnosed me without even looking or checking to see what was wrong with me. She does not care about her patients and should not be able to practice medicine, let alone work with Pregnant women. Please stop treating patients.. it's not for you.

Right from my initial consultation to the actual procedure, she always seemed rude, bored and in a hurry. She never explained after care after the procedure which I think is highly unethical. If you want someone who is personable, kind and understanding, find another doctor.

Went in for a pregnancy check up and I was rushed to the ER for a suspected ectopic pregnancy and I needed immediate surgery according to "dr." Dr. Iyers was supposed to come shortly after (was 5pm when I made it to the ER) as her office is connected to the hospital. She did not come until 2am in the morning. She told me not to worry and that it was a routine surgery. I woke up without an ovary as she said it was actually an ovarian pregnancy but days later I miscarried so it was not an ectopic or an ovarian pregnancy but a misdiagnosis. I asked to talk to her during my week stay in the hospital for a "routine surgery" but she was busy and sent other doctors from her practice. I went in to her office to confront her about her mistake and how costly it was for me and she said she has never had an ovarian pregnancy in all the years she was a doctor and hindsight is 20/20 and she was sorry but I have another ovary that can help me get pregnant. She cost me my child and she shaved off… years from my fertility timeline due to her malpractice and negligence. Run very, very far away.

Dr Iyer was really mean and was very impatient in giving answers. She didn't even bother to listen to the concerns and looked like she wanted me to get out of the office fast. After waiting for 40 mins, she only spoke to me for 3 mins. Unbelievable and very unprofessional.

She makes me feel comfortable in an uncomfortable situation. Let be real, who enjoys going to their OB doctor. She delivered my son and did an amazing job. She was able to bring him into this world safely and ensured that I was safe too. It has been 8 years since my son was born and I still go to her. I high recommend her.

My regular dr wasn’t available, so I made appointment with her. Let me tell you..My appointment was a joke, i have waited for an hr in the office to have maybe 10 min of her time. She’s very ignorant, walked in to the office, didn’t even apologize for the long wait, didn’t even bother to check my chart to see how far along I was with my pregnancy, when I made a comment she began to be very rude and went though the appointment as quick as possible ...no genuine concern about patient whatsoever!!! will never see her again!

I DON'T reccomend this dr to ANYONE!!!I Unfortunately experienced a second trimester loss, she scheduled my induction next day, I delivered my daughter a little after 2am and she came in looked irritated and could tell she didn't want to be there , my after birth didn't come out and she kept saying she doesn't want to do a dnc so no joke to me attempted a dnc without the tools she was so unbelievably rough and brutal the pain was unbearable!!!!she then insisted she got everything out and well no surprise, she didn't!had to have a dnc a month later. She's just absolutely horrible!!!!!

Dr. Iyer is wonderful! I had been to many doctors, including two others in this practice, but am so very happy to have found her! She listens to you completely, answers questions, never rushes the appointment. She is thorough and checks every avenue to ensure good care and the best treatment options. I completely trust her with my care and feel confident in my daughter going to her when she comes of age to need gynecological care. My only complaint would be with wait times - you wait in the waiting room and treatment room up to an hour at times before the doctor comes in, but that is an office issue, not a doctor issue. She is wonderful and I would recommend her to everyone!
