Dr. Ann Virginia Arthur, MD

Dr. Arthur is knowledgable and personable, no complaints there. The amount of time we spent waiting for our 10 minutes with her? Not worth it. The practice is horrible, after calling us 3 days in a row to confirm our appointment and stress the importance of arriving early or we would miss our appointment... we had to wait 2 hours (TWO HOURS!) with a FIVE MONTH OLD to see the Dr! We had a 10:15AM appointment and arrived promptly at 10AM. They open at 9AM, it's unacceptable to be 2 hours behind 1 hour into the day. No one apologized, gave an estimate of when we would be seen, or did anything to mitigate the situation. When we asked if the wait was normal, we were told YES THIS IS HOW IT IS ON TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS. If that's your standard, FINE, but communicate it and give parents a heads up to pack and plan accordingly. Set aside infant hours for new babies. Do ANYTHING to not be so behind. Certainly don't scare people into arriving early so they can clog up your waiting room… for hours. Do NOT take your baby here, there are plenty of excellent doctors in the city that can keep to some semblance of a schedule.

Dr. Arthur is very concise, empathetic, detailed doctor. She's good at what she does. NO REGRETS

The hardest thing was to get an evening appointment. Everything else after that went well.
