Dr. Ann Grider, MD

I saw Dr Grider for my pregnancy. She was very thorough in gathering information at our initial visit, including our preferences regarding whether it had to be a secret that our little girl is an IVF baby, or if it was known. She never seemed like she was too busy to answer any questions I had no matter how dumb I thought they were. When I started having health issues she made sure I was monitored closer (and my last visit I was sent straight down to labor and delivery for monitoring) she ended up being on call the day my baby needed delivered for both of our health and safety. She gave us our options, helped weigh the pros and cons of each option with us and allowed us to make our own informed decision about proceeding. We chose a c section and she did a tremendous job. Even remembering a small detail few people knew about our pregnancy). Following the delivery she checked on me regularly and made sure I was ok. When they thought something may be wrong with the baby she sat in my… room and explained things to me, and when my own health was on a roller coaster she was fantastic about making sure I was taken care of no matter who was on call. I can't say enough excellent things about her.

I have been seeing Dr. Grider since I started trying to get pregnant with my first daughter. She was so caring and nurturing after I suffered miscarriages and very proactive in helping me get pregnant (and stay pregnant). My first daughter was born premature (not due to anything wrong in my care), but luckily very healthy. I returned to Dr. Grider when pregnant with my second daughter, almost exclusively. I think most of the doctors in her practice are great, but I prefer to see her because I trust her. I will be forever grateful for her dedication to keeping my second daughter in my belly to a safe gestation. Her follow up is awesome, often calling me with result the same day. In the past, I thought the staff was over worked and maybe not as great, but things have greatly improved in those areas during this pregnancy. You might wait a little longer to see her, because she is awesome and you are in a long line of dedicated patients. I recommend EVERYONE to her. Thank you Dr.… Grider!
