Dr. Anna Carol Freitag, MD

This doctor is kind, listens, the way she is able to piece together a diagnosis and treatment plan as incredible, so knowledgeable, caring. I am so thankful to have her on my care team. So many truly awful doctors out there. SHE is truly amazing!!!!!!!

Appointments are difficult to get but it was worth the wait for me. This woman is very through and knowledgeable and she loves doing what she does.

This woman is really scary - she's rude, arrogant, judgmental, and makes wildly inappropriate comments. She also can't be bothered to come into work in time for her patients' appointments. AVOID.

I absolutely love her! After a more than miserable experience with another endocrinologist, she was - and continues to be - a breath of fresh air. She and her staff are deeply caring and take whatever time you need to understand what's going on and what the next steps are.

I love Dr Freitag as a physician, but she left herstamford practice and they wont tell me where she went. Can someone tell me where Dr Freitag is practicing now?

I've been with Dr. Freitag for years. She's monitored my health carefully, and keeps me in great shape. When my daughter was in high school, she began vomiting for hours on end. Her life stalled to a halt for three years, and none of the doctors we visited were able to figure out what was happening. When I finally took her to Dr. Freitag, she figured it out from the bloodwork. It was subtle, but it was a blood sugar issue. Thank God she's the excellent doctor she is, and that she's in our lives.

Before I saw Dr. Freitag I had the energy level of a 70 year old doctor after doctor told me at the age of 45 that was normal. It turned out that I had thyroid cancer which could have killed me if I listened to the other doctors. Dr. Freitag is awesome like I said above she changed my life.

I've been a patient of Dr. Freitag since 2003. Since that time I have been impressed by her knowledge, willingness to listen and understand and genuine concern for the patient. Under Dr. Freitag's care my diabetes and cholesterol are under control. Dr. Freitag has helped me in other areas besides her specialty. She stopped my smoking, uncovered a serious problem with a heart valve, and later a kidney problem. If you want a doctor that's extraordinary in knowledge, skill, and concern about the whole person Dr. Freitag is at the top of the list.

I cannot say enough about Doc Anna.She started out as a referral from another doctor at Norwalk Hospital and, after 2 visits, became my go to person for all my medical needs not just those related to my diabetes. Her professionalism and kindness are second to none, and her quality of care can only be described as legendary.Thanx to her I now manage my diabetes easily. My other doctors said my wife and I couldn't have kids, but Doc said we could, and after 3 months later my wife became pregnant and we now have a beautiful 5 y.o. daughter.My only peeve with Doc Anna is that she doesn't have an office here in Florida where I now live. I had to find 3 doctors to replace this 1 remarkable woman.Doc is on my permanent list of people I will never be able to repay properly.
