Dr. Anne Louise Coleman, MD

She has a very big name for herself and that is what she cultivated, but her care is horrendous. Wait times as already mentioned are 3-4 hours long - absolutely entitled and non apologetic in any way shape or form and this is true on EVERY visit. My mom has a serious eye condition and was going to her because she was considered the top dog in her field. She was used to spending 5-6 hours start/finish for a single visit two times a year (she has done this for many years). Visits are short, rushed and incomplete in terms of what a good conscientious doctor will do. As a result of geographic constraints she changed doctors. The new doctor saw she has eye damage that is irreversible, could NOT have happened in only 6 months since her last visit and it is a direct result of the improper eye care! She was advised to use her meds every other day. the standard of care is EVERYDAY as the meds only work to alleviate the continued progression of the problem when used every 24 hours! The new… doctor got her on the right dose and frequency and has her on natural dietary supplements that will help, but the damage that was done cannot be fixed or remedied. She cares more about her image and her status in her field than the patients. Definitely go somewhere else if your eyes and vision are important to you. "Careless" is not at all strong or accurate enough to express her delinquent level of care.

Dr. Coleman came highly recommended. I had mixed feelings about her and her staff. Some seemed very competent and friendly, while others did not. The wait was long. The office and equipment needed cleaning in all but one room I was in. The tech's did use sterilizing wipes on the pieces of equipment that came close to the eyes, but the equipment bases, computer monitors, art, etc. could use a good wipe down.

While my appointment was some time ago, I am taking advantage of this opportunity to review Dr. Coleman. I waited 3 hours to see this doctor due to incompetency and disregard of she and her office staff. When Dr. Coleman returned from her lunch, she seemed not in the least apologetic, and did not offer any significant recommendations to my condition. She has an inflated idea of her skills and an office staff to match. NOT recommended!
