Dr. Annette D Filiatrault, MD

I read the Google reviews on Dr. Annette D. Filiatrault and decided to go and see her for a serious issue with my large toe which suffered trauma. My visit was at her office Affiliated Foot & Ankle in Buckhead. As a result of the trauma I had three toe nails growing on top of each other, and it hurt. She was fantastic. She gave me the options of what could be done and I requested removal. When it was over the nails were removed and with my follow-up appointment, the toe looks healthy and feels great. I was nervous and she made me feel comfortable, very professional and a highly skilled doctor.

I had a toe problem. The doctor was on time and knowledgeable. She resolved the issue in one visit. The nurse who completed the procedure was well trained, as well.

I saw dr Filiatrault twice. First time fine, second time only 5 minutes. My third appointment was schedule for a Friday at 9am and when I got there, the staff informed me that the doctor wasn't in that day. They didn't call me or left a message. The staff was very rude. I left the office very upset and I told them that I wasn't making another appointment with the dr. Staff is a reflection of the doctor.

I’ve met my Out of Pocket Max for the year. That means, my insurance company covers 100% of all covered expenses through the end of the year. Most providers contact your insurance before your appointment to verify your insurance and find out what, if any, you will pay for their services. Not so with Affiliated Foot & Ankle! They demand a “deposit” of $250 for something that my insurance company says I’m not supposed to pay for. So, after waiting for weeks to get an appointment, driving across town, and then going through my entire appointment, they hit me with that and I learn that I have wasted quite a lot of my time. Fantastic. Do yourself a favor and find another practice.

I would not recommend Dr. Filiatrault to clean my kitchen, let alone as a podiatrist. I had an awful experience at her practice -which included not getting the proper care I needed. Luckily my primary care doctor also did not agree w/her recommending and forced me to get a 2nd opinion. which saved my foot.

Almost 8 years ago, Dr Filiatrault operated on my daughter’s bunion. Surgery took extra time, as Dr Filiatrault decided she had overcorrected the repair & remedied that in the operating room. Well, that toe is perfect to this day. Subsequently, my daughter had her other bunion repaired in NYC and that surgery failed, and will have to be redone. I’d highly recommend Dr Filiatrault.

My daughter was well cared for and has been pain free since her surgery with Dr. Filiatrault. In addition, Dr. Filiatrault’s recuperation timetable was spot on which was so helpful.

I am not certain for the other negative reviews, but I generally found the process quick, thorough, and everyone was very polite and helpful in answering questions I had. The follow up was excellent and I felt well cared for.
