Dr. Anthony Gerard Bassanelli, MD

Though it has been only 2 years, Dr. Bassanelli has been effective, pastoral like caring and possesses superior listening, validation and counselling skills. When I'm at a standstill, he has the ability to ellicit appropriate responses from me but at my choosing and level of comfort. Still a work in progress, I feel I have improved enough to live in the world from a better spot. He is quite expeditious in returning between session calls and importantly has above average pharmacology knowledge which he calmly and succinctly discusses the benefits and drawbacks with the client. Moreover, his support staff is efficiently friendly and empathetic. I highly recommend him. True, I just ended my relationship with the good doctor only because of new insurance financial considerations, much to my dismay, but if you have the resources, Dr. Bassanelli is well worth the time, effort and expense!

He seem very approachable, gentle and concerned. Which shortly would be washed in complacency finally giving way to misdiagnosis of a multitude of conditions and others missed. Psychiatrist are the only doctors that do not look at the organ they treat. Yet they give the same medicine to everybody for all symptoms, brain injuries, mold, toxins and chemical exposure. My experience with Anthony showed a fostering of “Don’t listen, Money first & Care last. He never had to care about his patients but he should care about his job and the people it effects. He did not listen to symptoms, even going as far as making them up. He never inquired with me about symptoms he created. He even lied to social security. Too, while in care he began having an annual fee above and beyond payments, premiums or copays; Reason? Prescriptions we’re getting too arduous to execute due to insurance company procedures. What? In my history I have had a lot of mold with chemical exposure and thousands of head traumas… caused by motor cross, BMX racing, skateboarding, skiing, football, soccer and a high speed head on collision without a seatbelt at six. I shared with him that after accident I lost cognitive function, ringing ears, equilibrium off, ears and nose felt cotton stuffed, headache and I was scared. Also at times it felt like air was being push into my arms. Limb felt huge but looked normal. It’s hard to believe he has a specialty in nuerology but missed it. All those symptoms which he completely discounted. Shame on bad care! ABUSIVE DOCTORS GAVE ME PTSD! RUN 4 YR LIFE!!!

I have been a patient of Dr Bassanelli for a number of years. During all these years he has been supportive, patient and kind. He uses both his professional and personal skills to guide myself and my husband through difficult times. I'm not certain that I have the words to express my appreciation.

I am 81 years old. From time to time I have felt the need of psychiatric counseling. I have never met anyone more capable at his profession. Before all else, he is a wonderful human being. Those are few and had to find in any profession . I speak as a member of a "learned profession" myself

Dr. Bassanelli is very warm and caring and feels "safe". He presents as a person who is even profoundly wise and insightfel and kind. He is a rare human being working in a perfect capacity to create a better world. We are fortunate to have him.

This doctor charges his patients a $375 "concierge" fee, above & beyond what insurance pays him. SHOCKING. When I asked what the fee was for, the office manager said it was so the doctor would be available 24/7 to his patients. (Aren't all doctors supposed to be available to patients 24/7 per their Hippocratic Oath?)

Dr. B cared for my Mom and is the best!!!
