Dr. Anthony C Pearlstone, MD

We loved Doctor Pearlstone so much and trusted his diagnosis and judgement that we actually did a second round of in-vitro with him after our first attempt failed. He was always very professional and honest with our chances of pregnancy. I feel he went above and beyond with us - he took all the necessary steps to make sure the timing for in-vitro was right for us. He is very patient friendly and willing to help. After we conceived triplets with his help - he was even helpful with future planning for maternal fetal medicine care, and support groups for parents of higher order multiples. Dr. Pearlstone went above and beyone to make sure we were well taken care of. As for cost - OF course it's expensive - I can't believe people post about cost - you should do your research first - he's the best with the best succeess rate - you're gonna pay for that! But again, cost was nothing to us - we just wanted a baby. With Dr. P's help, we are now the parents of almost 7 year old HEALTHY… perfect triplets! God bless you Dr. P and thank you for all that you do!

I wish I knew now what I didn't know then. It's a shame, but true, this office puts money before ANYTHING else. Nurses told me to do things that later they denied, shots were given at times that couldn't have possibly led to a pregnancy, based on the office hours. It's a million things, and we paid almost $30,000.00 for nothing. He did not even have the decency to call me himself at the end of treatment, let alone have a conference. Money, money,money. That was the entire focus.

My husband and I had great experience with Dr. Pearlstone and his staff. He was honest and truthful from the start. With the ability and technology that God gave to Dr. Pearlstone, we had a healthy girl. That was almost 10 years ago. I appreciate everything that Dr. Pearlstone and his staff did for us. I highly recommend him to anyone who lives close to St. Louis, MO if in the need of the inferility process. Dr. Pearlstone and his staff are the BEST!

I work in the healthcare setting, and appreciate the knowledge Dr. Pearlstone has of the latest technology. His staff is wonderful, and I have a daughter from the experience.

I love Dr. Pearlstone and think he is a very intelligent and caring man. He spends time answering my questions and I trust him to make the right decisions reguarding my treatment. Some of his staff members do not have the same professionalism and empathy that he has. I deal with the staff because I think Dr. Pearlstone's expertise is worth it.

Bad Experience

We love Dr. Pearlstone! His expirence and knowledge gave us the oppurtinity to be parents. Some say it was expensive, we all know going into this it's not cheap! My husband was the problem...he connected us with the top Male In-Fertility Specialist in St Louis, Dr. K Naughton. Dr.P explained all of the procedures, the cost (which at this time we didn't care, we just wanted a baby) and the problems. He did not paint a rosy picture, we had a 10% chance, we live 3 1/2 hours away, even though his staff worked really hard in getting us in and out, it was still alot of appointment. Why would I question if I need a test or ultrasound when he is the expert? WE have a beautful son he will be 4 this summer, and we currently ahve an apt to go through the in-vitro process again. The staff is great, they are all caring, if one is preganat its not her fault we can't have children, she never lorded it over us never mentioned it unless I did, I was happy for her!! When our 2nd procedure didn't… work, and they phoned me with the results I cried, the nurse cried right along with me and Dr. Pearlstone followeed up with a teleconference. Ifyou want success in getting pregant this is the place for you!

While Dr. Pearlstone himself is professional, a little nerdy and talks a little too fast, his office staff and nurses are the worst I have ever encountered!! One nurse, Melanie is an absolute terror to work with. She is not caring and had no problem showing off her belly bump in tight clothes while women are walking around only wanting to be pregnant. I would return to Dr. Pearlstone if he cleaned house with his staff.

I agree with those on here about pricing information. After 9 months of extensive testing we are left with huge bills and no successful pregnancy. One of the test cost 8 thousand dollars and no one discussed the cost of this with me ahead of time-they said it was covered by insurance which in the end it was not. I have recently switched drs. and my new dr feels all the testing was done in vain and primarly for monitary gain. The staff was not overly helpful and I never knew what was going on in my care and what the next step would be. I am not please at all with my experience and hope this review with help someone seek a second opinion and really evaluate tests, ultrasounds and the extent of what is being done to your body.

Dr. Pearlstone and his staff have been so helpful in every step along the way. His staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. He is always willing to take the extra time to answer all of my questions.
