Dr. Anthony Vecchio

Anthony Vecchio is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia with 22 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults. Anthony's expertise encompasses anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, personality disorders, mood disorders, ADHD/ADD, sleep disturbances, relationship issues, and PTSD. He has worked in diverse mental health settings, including therapeutic adolescent residential programs, acute adult psychiatry, intensive in-home services, and both behavioral and public school settings. Most recently, Anthony has been focusing on providing non-medical mental health support for teens of military families in public schools as well as providing individual telehealth-focused therapy sessions. With a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (2003) and a Master of Arts in Counseling (2010) from West Virginia University, Anthony is skilled in evidence-based cognitive-behavioral, client-centered, family systems, humanistic, and solution-focused therapies.
